Comments: See Yuushi and Tomoka. See Yuushi and Tomoka hand out trays. See tray slipped under everyone's dorm room. See trays slipped into Lockers, swimming pool, bath house, shrine and tennis umpire chairs.
Yuushi had written a list. Not that that was anything new, but this list was for the purely simple reason to cause trouble. Listed were all the places Yuushi had decided were good places to start...re-distributing the yucky old cafeteria trays. He was about to start placing them about; of course, in the middle of the night wearing all black. If he was going to do something, he'd do it right. Tomoka was going to meet him, and they would get as many done tonight as they could...
Tomoka had dressed in black as well, though probably not as thoroughly as he had. She just wanted to get the disgusting trays out of her room and he had promised hers would be the first to go. It was a miracle they hadn't given her nightmares yet. She arrived at their meeting spot ready to get it done and over with; though she was also looking forward to causing more mischief.
Smiling at Tomoka, he winked. "Ready to give everyone something to laugh about?" Or not, depending on their mood, and how many trays they left them, really. He handed Tomoka the list. It read:
Lockers
Swimming pool
Bath House
Umpire chairs on the Tennis courts
Under every person's door in the dorms
Under the Principle’s door with a thank you note
An artful stack in the courtyard
Shrine
"Always~" She took the list and tried to hold back laughing out loud at some of the items. It was absolutely perfect; though she did worry if they could pull it all off just the two of them without being caught.
"I've already got all my trays done. I...sort of got too excited, and did the dorm rooms on the way. We just have to do our own, after we get back in. I didn't want to trip on it, you know?" He asked, excited. It had been quiet awhile since he had caused mischief, and he didn't know how looking forward he had been, really.
"Oh you." she giggled quietly and looked at the rest of the list again. "I suppose we should work our way farthest and head back in to finish up then to make the best amount of time?" she grinned. She too was a bit eager to cause a little bit of trouble; you know the normal kind that should exist in a camp in the form of pranks.
"Definitely. I made a note for the Principle." He added with a wink. The note was another little poem, of course. "We should." He hefted the bag over his shoulder as they walked toward the Shrine. They wouldn't disrespect, but he assumed the 'ghost' would like to play with them, and they wouldn't put them in the actual shrine. Just...make a path leading up to it.
Oh how Tomoka loved his ideas so; it was almost a shame she was a part of the mischief instead of appreciating it as a clueless victim. But she wouldn't trade her spot now, even if placing the ugly trays around did mean she had to touch them again. At least they weren't in her room now so she couldn't complain much. "Almost done here~" she called over to him as she placed down her last few trays by her end.
It was almost scary how easily their minds worked together, working to build mischief for the rest of camp. Grinning, Yuushi placed the last tray in his hand down and stepped back. Perfect! Hearing Tomoka's voice, he moved toward her, first picking up the garbage bag still over half full with the trays. Strolling over to the younger girl, he grinned, before wiggling his nose-it itched. Fumbling with his glove, he quickly scratched the bridge of his nose before putting the glove on. They had duel functions; with the weather, and making sure they didn't leave prints on the trays.
She giggled as he came over to her again; it was a little funny seeing him struggle for a moment with his slight nose itch. It was a lucky time of season for them to be able to wear their gloves out comfortably and purposefully. "So what's next, partner?" she winked. The bag was still fairly full but at least they hadn't been wasting much time. Having the two of them working together made things go fast, especially since they were able to work without much communication. Oh how evil minds worked so well together~
"The Bath house, of course." Yuushi said, grinning. It'd be fun to put them randomly everywhere. But not in the water-they were saving the floating trays for the pool. "You can take the girls changing room, and I'll take the boys, and maybe we should put them on the rocks too. Or on the steps." He was musing out loud as they started down the trail from the shrine.
"We might just run out of if you get too excited, silly~" she laughed as they made their way to the bath house. Though she doubted that would actually happen, the bag seemed to be bottomless each time they opened it to scatter trays about. Or maybe that was just because it was dark and hard to see inside of a garbage bag... either way, she would be ecstatic to finish the mischievous deed.
"I don't think so. I counted, you know." He replied with a shake of his head. "And we have a certain amount to use at each place. I am a genius, after all." Yuushi drawled out, as they made it up the steps to the bath house. He would go left, and she would go right, toward the changing rooms. But first....He dug through the bag and handed her close to twenty trays.
"How could I forget, Sir Yuushi~?" she smiled, though it immediately disappeared when she had to balance the trays. She sighed and rushed to the changing room so she could scatter the trays and not have to hold them close to her face like when she was carrying them over. It wasn't too difficult, though she had to be a bit more creative as she couldn't reach some of the higher spots she wanted to. In no time she was out to meet up once more; she wondered just how many there had been if Yuushi was keeping count. Then again, maybe she was better off not knowing how many she had touched; gloves or not.
Let's see...Three on top of the toilet seats, five in the lockers, six tucked into towels, two in the shoe racks, two out on the steps of the bath, and two on the rocks. Satisfied, Yuushi sauntered back toward the Entrance steps, and found Tomoka. He winked again. "Find some good spots? Shall we move down to the Tennis Courts?"
"Yes, plenty. I'm sure you had all of yours mapped out perfectly." They were making it into almost an art; a very ugly one... but the idea behind it was beautifully done. "And yes, onto the courts!" she cheered as they continued along, though a bit more cautiously as they were getting closer to camp again. Good thing time was on their side and it was still a ridiculous hour for anyone to be out and about.
Chuckling low in his throat, he nodded. "You made a quick study of me, Tomoka. The courts shall be fun. Every Umpire's chair and we'll have half a dozen others to place. Any ideas?" The walk was slightly longer and downhill, so they had a moment to plot together.
"Hm... aside from the chairs if the ball baskets are out, we should definitely stick some there. Or just make a tray net~" she laughed imagining all of the possibilities and subsequent reactions the next morning. Well, at least the trays were useful to them for a something other than being a disgrace to a good meal. Hopefully it would be the kind of random prank to get everyone in lighter spirits as much as they were having fun with it.
"Ooh, good idea." He liked the way her brain worked, even if it was a female one. Yuushi would admit though, for a girl, she was not annoying and had a quick thinking brain. Good for causing mischief. Opening the gate for her, they entered the tennis courts, and he let the bag fall to the ground before digging some out. He handed her a stack. "Shall we?"
"I believe we shall~" she chimed, grabbing the tray and skipping along to place the trays around. And here she thought she'd be getting into trouble all on her own. Having a partner in crime was definitely more fun, especially with such a mastermind to work with.
Yuushi moved from one Umpire's seat to the next, placing a tray down on the chair. Hopefully, unsuspecting people would sit on them-it was only too bad he couldn't put glue or some such thing on them so they would have to walk around with a tray stuck on their butt before they changed. Smirking at the thought, he kept working until he placed the last tray. Jogging back to the garbage bag half full of trays, he looked over at Tomoka. "That looks awesome..."
"Who'd have thought these grungy things would bring me any inspiration. Too bad I'm not a masochist or I'd consider it a career." she giggled, finishing her tray net. It just took a little patience in weaving and her forgetting for a moment she was handling the disgusting things. Thank goodness it was dark enough out for her not to see much detail on them but the shape.
Yuushi could only smirk as Tomoka worked. She really was talented. After a quick glance at his watch, he noted it was a quarter past two. They would probably be finished by three, the way they were going. "Perfect. Next is the swimming pool. That'll be easy." Maybe a couple trays in the changing room lockers, too.
"Ooh, I haven't even been there yet. Exciting~" she grinned as she followed along. At least if she got caught and kicked out over it afterward she would really have had a complete tour now. They seemed to be making very good time even as they were wandering around campus; starting furthest and working together was definitely paying off.
"Yes, Pools are terribly exciting." Yuushi drawled out dryly, rolling his eyes as he teased her. It was only a short walk to the indoor swimming pool, but, of course, the door was locked. Bugger. Frowning, he paused, letting his eyes take in their surrounding. That window was open ".....how do you feel about climbing through a window?"
"Well, it's a good thing I'm not wearing a skirt then... or maybe that's a bad thing, hm~" she giggled. It was too bad the door was locked but it added a little to their adventure of sorts.
"I am a gentleman! I wouldn't look, I swear~" He said, dramatically holding up a hand, as if he were saying an oath. "I don't think I can fit though that window...so it's either you go by yourself....or we use the trays like Frisbees and see if we can make them get into the pool."
"Though play Frisbee sounds like fun, I'd prefer to keep our art style going, ne?" she winked and pat him on the arm after his oath. "Be gentle~" Tomoka whispered, approaching the window and waiting for him to help her through.
"Alright, if you're sure." He moved, pressing one legs forward and down so his knee and thigh were like a step stool, and his hands shifted up so he could help support her. "Oh. Wait!" He paused. "How will you get back...?" He wouldn’t want her stuck!
"There should be workout equipment inside I can stack to get back out..." she muttered as she climbed up a little and peeked in. "Aha, yes there's some mats I can stack up to get back. I'll just take a bit longer." Such a shame too, they were making such amazing time. Oh well, best to have a set back now than get caught in the dorms or something. "Ready when you are~"
Alright than. Go first, and than I'll hand you the trays." He murmured softly. She was a trooper, mischievous Tomoka. Once she was safely over the side, Yuushi stood and started handing her small stacks of trays. They only needed about twenty, so he gave her the rest to float in the pool.
"I'll be back soon." she called to him, jumping up a little so she could wave after she had been given all the trays. She carefully went about placing the trays in the pool, floating them so they wouldn't be bunched together. It was a good thing the pool pumps ran during the day so it made it easier for her to control where they ended up. Once she had finished she dragged over the mats to create a miniature staircase so she could hoist herself up and out. It was a good thing she took those self defense lessons, really built up her upper body strength or else she wouldn't have been able to hoist herself up so high.
Yuushi was ready and waiting, arms out to pull her from the window and put her on the ground. But after she was fully in his arms, he spun her around once before setting her feet to the floor. "You were amazing, Miss Tomoka~"
"I couldn't be without you, Sir Yuushi~" she smiled. The spin was a nice touch to the end. Yep, definitely some of the most fun she'd had since getting there. She had almost completely forgotten how disgusting the trays were~ almost... they still had a job to finish after all. "So what's next?"
"Thank you." Yuushi bowed outlandishly, and winking, picking up the almost empty trash bag. "Next is the Principle’s office. I have the note all ready, too. Wanna read it while we walk there?" He reached into his pocket and pulled out a napkin-it seemed fitting to use one again. On it, he had written out:
We thank you for your kindness,
You see, the trays started to cause blindness,
How ugly they were,
Anyone who could see would concur,
No one could see the lure,
Now we can see,
We don't have to flee,
Instead we can sit and actually enjoy our tea.
Tomoka had to stop herself from laughing too loudly as they made their way to the office. "Sir Yuushi, you've outdone yourself yet again; another piece of genius." she grinned once they had almost arrived. The fact it was also on a napkin tickled her as well.
Yuushi smirked at Tomoka's response, and they made their way, silently to the main office building. It was unlocked, thankfully, so they made quick time of coming to a stop in front of the principle’s office. He took the note and put it on top of the tray. "Just one, you think? I have about twenty...and we both need one for our rooms, and random lockers we can open on the way back up, yeah?"
"Sounds perfect to me." she replied quietly, to him. As much as she would love to just dump the rest in the office building it would cause more confusion slipping them in lockers. If they were going to do that she would have rather left all the trays there, which would have been fun too but this way everyone got to appreciate the atrociousness.
The deed done, he handed Tomoka ten of the trays. "Alright. Shall we? I know an easy way to open lockers, so...whose shall we open?" He pulled out a stethoscope from his pocket and winked.
"I have my own list of people who could use a little excitement." she giggled and pulled it out to share with him. No doubt he had an idea of some who needed it as well. "Have I told you lately how much I adore you by the way?" she swooned a little as he pulled out the stethoscope. Genius simply did not do Yuushi justice sometimes~
"Alright. As long as you know whose locker it is, I can open it. Or, we can do random ones. Up to you, but....we only have about twenty minutes if you want any sleep tonight." He murmured, reaching out to take the list.
"Oh my, only that much? I suppose random would be safest then. We'll probably manage to hit at least a few on the list anyway." she smiled and led him along to the lockers while she searched for some that were open. Not too surprisingly enough there were quite a few that were. It didn't take her too long to almost get rid of all of the trays.
Yuushi had read the list and was determined to at least get a couple on there. So first on the list was Echizen. It only took a minute to get the locker open, and he shoved the tray in and upon seeing a six pack of Ponta, took one of the cans. Maybe it would cause the boy to freak. He opened a couple more lockers, including Hiyopi's, and after looking at the list again, opened Niou's locker for the second to last tray. It seemed fitting. From one prankster to another. With a grin, he shut the locker and pulled the ear buds from his ears, looking over at Tomoka. "All but the one that goes under my door. Need anymore help?"
"I just have one more other than the one for my door, have anyone in mind?" she smiled, waving the tray around for him. She had run out of unlocked lockers and figured he might have someone fun in mind since he had gone to the trouble of checking off her list.
"Well, I think that if someone could appreciate the ugly trays less than us, it would be Atobe." He said with a devilish little grin. And wasn't his locker....ah ha. There. He moved toward it and placed the stethoscope back in his ears and listened for the clicks to let him know he got the lock right. A few seconds later, the locker opened, and it was indeed Atobe's locker. "Here we go. Last tray. May you cause a laugh, or a fit, either way, it may be entertaining." He drawled to the tray before putting it in the locker and shutting it. Yuushi turned around and held out his hand for a high five. "Mission complete. Time for bed, I think."
"I'm sure it'll be the best night of sleep I've had." Tomoka grinned, high-fiving him to seal the deal. She stifled a yawn as she held her last tray for the night and smiled, ready to return to a tray-free room; at least they weren't hidden under her bed anymore. The nightmare was over, and the fun was only just starting~
"...You've really been having nightmares?" He asked, as he rolled up the garbage bag and stuffed it in his pocket. Yuushi suddenly felt horrible about it, and frowned. "Why didn’t you tell me?"
"Because then tonight's sleep wouldn't be as amazing, and I couldn't let you shoulder the entire burden. No matter how ugly." she winked to him. It had made waiting for that night all the more exciting and finishing it all the more rewarding.
"But I slept like a baby the whole time!" He replied, groaning. "I'm sorry, Tomoka. I really am. At least now you can sleep, I guess. But next time, tell me!" Yuushi demanded.
"Okay, okay. Don't worry that amazing genius head of yours, I promise I will next time." she sighed softly and pat him on the arm to reassure him. Either way she was looking forward to a good sleep, even if it was going to be a short one.
"Good. Now, let's get to bed before our luck runs out and we're caught." He escorted her to her room, and waved goodnight because he didn't want to wake anyone after they had entered the dorms. After seeing her to her room, he silently moved to his own and opened the door, careful to place the tray right by the door to make it look like it had been slipped under the door. With a tired grin, he stripped his dark clothing off and fell into bed with only his boxers. Yuushi was asleep not even a minute later.
Tomoka was careful to place her tray as soon as she had been escorted to her room. As soon as the deed was done she managed to somehow slip into her night gown and passed out soundly on her bed, not even bothering to slip under the covers. It would be a night of sound, tray filled nightmare-less sleep; and she would enjoy every second of it.
