Script Log: Miyuki & Shiraishi - A Gentle Embrace
Who: Chitose Miyuki & Shiraishi Kuranosuke
Where: Miyuki's room
What: Shiraishi comes to see how Miyuki is doing since she seems down and to give her a much needed hug.

Shiraishi: *it didn't take him too long to walk to Miyuki's room... especially since he really wanted to see the girl. He was a little worried... people had been down a lot lately* *after standing still for a while he knocked on the door*
Miyuki: *doesn't get up to open the door for him even though she's normally bursting through to greet her guests* It's open... *on her bed huddled up, been moping all day not sure what's wrong with her*
Shiraishi: *something was definitely wrong.... he opens the door and walks in after peeking in* Miyuki?
Miyuki: Oh, hi Kura-nii... *gives him a small nod instead of her usual smile*
Shiraishi: *closes the door behind him and walks to Miyukis bed* Are you alright?
Miyuki: *tilts head to the side and glaces away but nods again* Yeah, I'm fine. *obvious lie*
Shiraishi: *pets her head* No lying, little miss.
Miyuki: I dunno... *curls up more and mumbles, trying to hide her face*
Shiraishi: ... well, I'm not here to pressure you to talk. But you're making it difficult for me to hug you.
Miyuki: ... *sits normally, or at least crosslegged on the bed now so she's not in an awkward position for him to hug; her face is still a bit tear stained and tired looking*
Shiraishi: *feels sad after seeing her face, but hugs her without saying a word* I'm here for you, okay? You're not alone...
Miyuki: *feels like crying again but tries not to* Gomen... *hugs back; feels bad knowing things are happening to him too and feels selfish*
Shiraishi: Don't apologize... You haven't done anything to apologize.
Miyuki: *shakes head* But... stuff's wrong with Kura-nii... and others too a-and I'm just being a crybaby. *tears start slipping down her cheeks*
Shiraishi: ... *pets Miyuki's head again* There's nothing wrong with that. I mean, if I'd be surrounded by people who are sad all the time, I'd get sad, too. Well, I am sad, but I've learned to keep tears in. But you don't need to learn that yet.
Miyuki: *buries her head a little in his shirt* B-But... I just wanna make everyone happy... and keep getting upset...
Shiraishi: That burden is too harsh for anyone to take... and you shouldn't take it too harsh. The people who get upset will become happier in time. And if you just keep being you, you'll be able to spread happiness...
Miyuki: *clings* I was trying.... but then when I did... I-... *remembers Tezuka's arm hurting and can't stop crying again* I-I just messed stuff up like with dorobo-onii-chan...!
Shiraishi: ... what happened?
Miyuki: ... *doesn't know if she should say but too upset again to care* W-We were playing a game.. b-but his arm...
Shiraishi: ... *kisses Miyukis hair* Ssh... calm down. It's okay.
Miyuki: *wants to calm down but keeps crying* ... my fault... *mumbles* I-It's my fault... his arm's hurting now... 'c-cause I was being stupid..!
Shiraishi: It's not your fault. I'm sure Tezuka thinks the same way.
Miyuki: But if... I didn't make him play... h-he wouldn't... *can't really speak anymore because of the crying, buries her head again*
Shiraishi: ... It was his choice. He could have said no. It's not your fault... *hugs her a bit more tightly* Don't blame yourself.
Miyuki: ... *clings back; knows she shouldn't feel so guilty but her chest aches when she thinks Tezuka's hurt or she hurt him*
Shiraishi: *just continues hugging her, trying to think of what to say*
Miyuki: *doesn't need words, or doesn't know what ones would make her feel better; but the hugging is helping a little-- her head is just too full of sad and confusing thoughts*
Shiraishi: *instead of words, hums a little since he feels like the silence would just make things worse, at the same time pets her a little*
Miyuki: *calms down, closing her eyes to listen to the humming and slowly starts falling asleep, but doesn't let go*
Shiraishi: *continues calmly, relieved that Miyuki seems to be calmer now... and hoping that resting will make some kinf of difference for her*
Miyuki: *sound asleep after a while longer, still clinging to him-- definitely has her brother's habit*
Shiraishi: *smiles a little and doesn't mind... will probably be sleeping there, holding her, when she wakes up anyway*
