Who: Chitose Miyuki & Fuji Syuusuke
When: January 24th
Where: Common Room
What: Miyuki is distressed
Warnings: PG
Comments: Allowed, and also, watch Miyuki succeed where Mizuki and Tezuka did not. =0!
Miyuki: *finds herself in the common room, clearly frustrated over something; perhaps she should have just gone outside to hit a ball at something instead of wandering aimlessly*
Fuji: *sits in one of the chairs, reading a book, reading glasses sliding down over his nose* *notices the girl and studies her for a moment behind the book*
Miyuki: *paces a little, fists clenched; debating on just holing up in her room and screaming into a pillow to get rid of the strange frustration*
Fuji: *lowers the book finally* You're Tezuka's friend, right? What's the matter?
Miyuki: I'm angry... *doesn't turn around to look at him as she's still trying to figure out what to do*
Fuji: I gathered as much. Seeing as you walk around with a little storm cloud over your head. *smiles*
Miyuki: Huh..? *looks up almost expecting to see a cloud and the realizes who it is and doesn't feel so tense anymore; just sad* You're Fuji-san right? *blinks*
Fuji: *nods* Fuji Syuusuke, at your service, Chitose Miyuki-chan.
Miyuki: Ah-! You know my name too. *calms down a bit more but then frowns slightly*
Fuji: *picks up on that* ... What's wrong?
Miyuki: Everyone's sad... and I don't know how to help anything so I got angry... *knows it probably doesn't make sense-- she really was just upset*
Fuji: *nods slowly* Aa. It's frustrating when you don't know if any amount of cheering up you do will help people for the moment or in the long run. I've tried to cheer An up, but... She's very upset right now. *frowns*
Miyuki: But stuff's wrong with Fuji-san too..! *oops, she wasn't supposed to know that wasn't she; covers her mouth*
Fuji: *blink* What...? *eyes narrows* ... Now what could you possibly mean by that, Miyuki-chan...?
Miyuki: That is... um... n-nothing... *wishes she hadn't let that slip; glances away nervously*
Fuji: ... Tezuka? Did he say something to you? What did he say?
Miyuki: He told me that... bad stuff had happened to you 'cause he didn't know what else to do like I didn't with Ryoma. *fidgets* D-Don't be mad at him, 'kay? *pleading*
Fuji: ... I'm already mad at him. *bleak smile* And really. That's not his business to tell. ... *pause* And what's with Echizen? *another person he was mad at, he really should stop pushing his already weak friendships with some of the former Seigaku players, but...*
Miyuki: But friends shouldn't be mad at each other... *getting a bit upset again* And Ryoma's been bullied lately but won't do anything about it... I at least got one of the jerks to leave him alone for a while...
Fuji: Bullied? Echizen has? *didn't know, oops*
Miyuki: They've been calling him names and stuff and I think they tried to hurt him 'cause they pushed me... *clenches fist; still wants to deck the guy sooo bad*
Fuji: ... I... I didn't know. We haven't really talked lately. *last time was when Mizuki and Echizen tried to talk him out of ever putting his fingers down his throat again*
Miyuki: Why aren't you talking to each other, aren't you friends..? *getting a bit teary-eyed*
Fuji: ... I... guess we've been fighting. It's silly, really... *feels bad now* D-don't cry, Miyuki-chan... *is ever awkward around young girls, that little twin girl who crushed on him still rather fresh in his mind*
Miyuki: I-I'm not gonna cry... *sniffles stubbornly* I just don't know what to do... and no one else does either so I get angry 'cause nothing makes sense..! *clenches fists again, though more trying to distract herself from crying*
Fuji: ... Let's start with... How many people are there that bully Echizen? Do you know? And the exact reason why they do it? You said they called him names. What kind of names?
Miyuki: *takes a deep breath to calm down a little* I've only met one but Ryoma said he had friends... I don't know why they bully Ryoma so much but he said it started when he wasn't gonna play tennis anymore. *pauses at the last question, glaring at the ground* He called Ryoma a fag...
Fuji: ... I... see. *voice calm, crisp* Now, that's overly mature of him. *a pause* I just can't imagine Echizen simply standing there, taking it, though... *or, rather, sitting, but that would sound odd to say*
Miyuki: Ryoma said he wasn't strong anymore... so that's why he needs his friends. *can see why he was so sad about it if they had all been fighting even if she doesn't quite understand it all still*
Fuji: *and that feels like a blow to his stomach, so he simply stares down at his book* ...
Miyuki: Don't you feel the same way, Fuji-san..? *frowns, didn't want to make him feel bad*
Fuji: I... *clears his throat* Y-yes, I do. Nee, Miyuki-chan... I know we hardly know each other, but Tezuka thinks very highly of you, and I think I can see why. Would it be very awkward for you if I asked you for a hug? Because... *laughs a little* I think I do.
Miyuki: *nods and hugs him a little awkwardly; hoping she can cheer him up somehow*
Fuji: *hugs her back, nuzzling into her hair* You know... I should thank you. I don't know why, but... You've managed to open my eyes. A little, at least.
Miyuki: I just want everyone to be friends and happy... but I don't really know how all the time. *mumbles, giggling a little as he nuzzled her; it tickled*
Fuji: Well, a truly sincere smile can go a long way. *says the perpetual stepford smiler*
Miyuki: I think a smile suits everyone better. *pulls back from the hug to grin up at him; no trace of being upset before on her face*
Fuji: *smiles back, still a hint of sadness to the smile, thus proving that it's a real smile for once* Aa. I think so too.
