Comments:Okay, so Tomo and Yuushi have caused some trouble in the Cafeteria~
Tomoka was wandering around outside despite the cool air. It was better than being stuffy inside for the time being at least. She had spent the morning unpacking and getting her room situated that she needed a break in the fresh air. The girl had been sorely disappointed she had yet to see any of her old friends. Then again it wasn't as if they'd all be jumping to throw her a welcome party or anything. She sighed and checked her phone for a moment. Nope, still no messages; but it had only been a few days since she left so she couldn't be too clingy to him. (As much as she wanted to, that's what a girlfriend did~ In her mind anyway.)
Oh well, she had plenty of boys here to have fun with; if she could find them of course. Maybe they were still the same crazy tennis freaks she had grown to love and were out of the courts even in the cold? She continued to wander along toward the courts in hopes of finding someone even slightly familiar.
Yuushi's brain was full to the brim; thinking about Kenya and the horrible situation that his poor cousin was in. He was gonna fix it too. He'd already bought another pair of the shoes, and now, he was just working on how to approach Uncle. Walking around outside was helping him thick, and as he looked out into the winter wonderland, he saw someone close by.
It was another tinny-minny. But this time, he knew not to call her that-cause this one reminded him of his sister was she was younger-and she was scary. Walking over to her, e smiled. "Hello there~" He drawled out in his mixed accent.
Tomoka spun around, a bit surprised to hear someone call out to her but pleasantly so when she saw who. Not that they had ever formally met but hey, a guy who looked and sounded like him could say hi to her any day. "Hey there yourself~" she smiled. His strange accent threw her off for a moment but he seemed interesting enough.
"You new around here? Or I obviously didn't notice when all the girls started invading camp." He murmured in his deep drawl, looking down at her. She was probably older than Miyuki, but younger than him. And really, where were all the girls coming from?
"Ara, so it wasn't just my imagination that this place was lacking a feminine touch~" she giggled. She had expected as much, it was like that in the past after all. What girl would want to come to a sweaty sports camp? But she hadn't even been able to participate in clubs so this was her chance to make up for lost time. Being surrounded by boys was also a fun thought. (Of course it in no way influenced her decision to come there-- not.) "But yes, I am new, a first year. Osakada Tomoka, I used to go to Seigaku." she greeted him, bowing politely.
"It completely lacked one. Not to say that some boys didn't try...but not every gay has the perfect feminine touch." Yuushi replied, chuckling. He thought her name sounded familiar. Oh! Was she the loud cheering one that was always gushing about Echizen? Maybe she was-but that was years ago, so either way, she was probably a bit different now. "I'm Oshitari Yuushi, third year. I guess you could say I was from Hyoutei, but more recently, a school in England."
"Well then I'll just have to change something about that." And oh would she, just not right away. First she had to finish decorating her room and then she'd go from the hall and so on and so forth. Though she hoped she wouldn't end up with that much free time. "Hyoutei, huh?" There was a school she couldn't forget too easily, though the names and faces had escaped her over the years. "I had to do a lot of cheering thanks to your school, then again our minority beat you out in the end." she smiled sweetly remembering the best cheering moments of her middle school life. "You went away to England? That must have been exciting."
"You'll take camp by storm." He offered her, with a smirk. She sounded like a force to be reckoned with. "Mmm. I'm the genius that lost to Kikumaru and Momoshiro." He replied. "And I believe I remember you-leader of the cheerers. Very vocal, ah?" He chuckled for a moment before nodding. "Mmm. It was very nice. I'll be going back after I finish college here."
"Well even geniuses must meet their match, hehe. And that would be me~" she smiled, remembering him a bit better now that she had more information to go off of. "Why England?" Tomoka couldn't help asking curiously.
"That's true." Yuushi nodded, and smiled back. "England because it is where I want to earn my doctorate. I'm very fond of the country, and it boasts one of the best medical schools in the world."
"Is that so? Should I start calling you doctor now then?" Tomoka giggled. It wasn't surprising to her to hear people going into different careers once they were done at the school. It was almost exciting actually, seeing how much people had changed and maybe not so much at the same time.
"Hmm, some day, I might be your doctor." He purred out, giving her a wink. "But never fear. Doctor Yuushi is always a professional~"
"You can practice on me any day then, Doctor Yuushi." she winked right back at him. She knew she should probably tone down on the play, but it was just too fun.
"Why thank you. I am sure the more practice I get on feeling for breast lumps will be very important to my profession." He said, wiggling his eyebrows lewdly.
"Ara, too bad I already have someone to take care of those for me. Maybe next time though~" she sighed, acting embarrassed-- not that she was in the least. Yeah, she was going to like it here.
"That's very good to hear. You can never be too careful~” But really, he couldn't understand getting aroused from groping a glob of fatty tissue...
"That you can't." Tomoka smiled. "So how are you enjoying things here, Doctor Yuushi~?" She hadn't really had the chance to check up on everything yet and was curious what everyone thought of the place.
"Mmm, Camp is enjoyable. I enjoy the classes, and the physical activities are always enjoyable. I have my cousin here, so really, I am very happy to be here. And the chefs do quiet well in feeding us healthy and delicious meals." Yuushi drawled out. "Have you been here long to enjoy Camp?"
"Well that's very nice to hear then." Not that she had doubted it was a good camp but one never knew. Better to hear from someone who had been there for a while. "I just arrived the other night and finished unpacking this morning, so not too long. Though you're already helping to make my stay much more enjoyable."
"Oh, I see. Well, if you haven't had the grand tour yet, I'd be happy to help out!" Yuushi said, grinning at her. For a girl, she wasn't bad.
"Well it's just my lucky day then, are you sure you're not really more suited for a knight occupation. I think Sir Yuushi has a nice ring to it~" she giggled, and grinned back up to him.
"I could always be both. While I'm in England, maybe I could become Knighted." He teased, winking as he offered her his elbow.
"Best double occupation for a genius such as yourself, I'd say." she replied and took his elbow happily.
"Very true. So, Miss Tomoka, what are you thinking of going into, occupational wise?" He asked, as he started to walk her toward the tennis courts.
"I haven't put much thought into it yet really. Though I know I'm a pretty decent stay at home mom after caring for my twin brothers." she joked as they walked. "I came here to have a little fun and maybe figure that out along the way though." Between keeping up with school and watching her brothers in the past she hadn't had much time to lay back and think about her future. Maybe now with so many people around her who were she could figure things out though.
"A very wise choice, Miss Tomoka." Yuushi replied, as he pointed out the tennis courts, and a bit further along, the steps that lead to the baths.
"Why thank you, Sir Yuushi~" She nodded as he pointed each thing out, it seemed pleasant and big enough for a place almost in the middle of nowhere.
There were dozens of things to point out, and they strolled about as he gave her the tour. But soon enough, he was feeling the winter air start to get to him, and was afraid she might be too cold. "I think that's wraps up the tour. Shall we go to the Cafeteria for some tea or cocoa to warm us?"
"That sounds like a lovely idea." she smiled up to him. The cold was definitely starting to get to her too so she was more than happy to head back inside. He had shown her plenty already anyway, she was confident she'd get around fine now.
Being the gentleman that he was, he opened the door for her once they got to the Cafeteria, and he pointed to a pair of seats. "Why don't you sit while I get us some cocoa and something...sweet?" He asked, eyebrow raised.
"How thoughtful, do you treat all the girls in camp like this?" she giggled, taking her seat and glad to be inside and warm.
"Well, I wouldn't say that." Miyuki, the sweet child, he hadn't been so kind to, but she was so fun to rile up. "But I do treat all my boys like this~" He called out, before moving to get to cups of cocoa and a couple desserts from the spread of food available. Yuushi held the tray carefully as he came back, sitting across from the girl.
"I'll just take that as a compliment then~" she smiled. "You're just a master of everything, aren't you?" It was pretty amusing watching him come back with the tray perfectly balanced. Maybe something he picked up from England, or was just born with. Either way she knew she was going to like him~
"Mmm, I do try. It's a genius thing." He teased, winking at her as he handed over her hot chocolate and pretty little petit four he thought she might like.
"Seemed pretty effortless to me." she winked back and took them both happily. "Thank you~" Tomoka took a small sip of the hot chocolate after blowing on it and let out a content sigh. She wasn't the biggest sweets lover but nothing beat hot chocolate after being in the cold. The pastry was just as enjoyable as well.
Tomoka was his kinda girl. He laughed, and nodded. "Well thank you~" His own cocoa was moved off the tray, and so was his dessert-a pan au chocolate, and he slipped the ugly tray to another table so they wouldn't have to look at it. Than, he took a sip of his warm drink-helping him to warm up.
Tomoka couldn't help eyeing the tray as he moved it away. "Looks like I know where to start my next project after my room..." she sighed and took another sip of the cocoa to try and warm her thoughts too. She could definitely see how lots of girls were turned off by the sweaty sports camps. But she would most certainly be doing something about it~
Laughing at the girls unexpected, but true comment, he nodded. "Yes, it would be a god-send. I think someone color-blind picked those out.
"In a few weeks you won't have to see them then~" And she would definitely make it her first goal to change those awful trays so she wouldn't be caught in a situation like this again. She enjoyed the rest of her cocoa and tried to ignore it again.
After taking a bite of his pan au chocolate, he chewed while taking another look at them. "Thank god. As high tech and awesome this place is, those cheap trays really bring down the place." Yuushi took a sip of his cocoa.
"I'd imagine, a high school lunchroom has better looking trays than those abominations. I am so sorry you've had to suffer through them." she sighed deeply and shook her head at the ugly tray. "For shame~"
"Yes, and we are so above a regular high school. It's insulting, really. And I appreciate your compassion." Yuushi drawled out, smirking. Oh, she was going to be fun....they could get into lots of trouble together-except, with a genius on your side, you were rarely caught.
"Ne... why don't we do something about them now so no one else need suffer?" she proposed, leaning in a little closer as if they had to be secretive in the empty room.
Leaning toward the girl, he grinned. "I'd love to, but...if we take them all now, do you think they'll be replaced soon enough? With something less...prison like?" He whispered back to her.
"Hm... perhaps if we do it gradually they'll get the message?" she whispered to him as well. The things had to be at least a few years old and most likely out of production as she had in fact seen better looking trays at her old school.
"Or they might just order a few more....Maybe we should take them all. And leave a note. Ah?" He asked, eyes glinting. "Something along the lines of 'shall you refuse to buy some decent trays, they shall never stay long enough to be used.' You know?" But he could do much better than that. He was s genius, after all.
"That, Sir Yuushi, is pure genius." she winked at him; glad to have a partner in crime; or rather justice from the tacky.
"Thank you, my dear Tomoka. Oh...We need a piece of paper. I have something to write." He said, with a grin. A poem came into his head, and he wanted to write it down.
"Hm... will this do?" She found a napkin that had snuck its way beneath the ugly tray and made a small face as she pulled it from under. "I'll definitely be starting with this one..." Tomoka glared at the tray and then handed the napkin to him, curious what he was going to write.
"Ooh, I like it. Do you have a pen? Maybe I should write with Ketchup." He teased. "Yes. We should grab all the trays. But where shall we keep them...? Some in your room, some in mine?" He thought it would be fun to...re-distribute them after they had gotten new trays
"Though I'd love to see your ketchup penmanship, here." She handed him a pen she happened to have left in her pocket. Who would have thought it would be going to such good use today. "I don't know about you but I don't fancy sleeping with that." she remarked, rolling her eyes slightly at the trays.
Chuckling, Yuushi quickly wrote a poem.
Where are all the ugly trays?
If you've noticed, they've all run away,
Not a one you will find,
So please be so kind,
Buy some nice ones for us to dine.
Finished, he grinned, and showed her. "We'll stuff them under the beds, yeah? I would like to...hand them out, later."
"And a master poet, fine have it your way~" He seemed so excited about it she couldn't really say no. Besides, so long as it meant the trays would be replaced eventually she didn't mind too much.
"Alright. Shall we do it now, while there are no witnesses?" He asked, looking around into the strangely empty cafeteria.
"No better time than the present~" she giggled and grabbed the first tray that started it all. How she wanted to break it in half so bad, but she'd probably break a nail and it definitely wasn't worth that.
Chuckling, he picked up the note and moved toward the stacks of trays. They were fairly light, so he could probably carry a lot of them if....Ah ha! And empty garbage bag was hanging out from under a cupboard, and he took it and started filling it up.
Tomoka couldn't stop giggling watching him go to work so eagerly. She joined in and helped him fill the bag. There were so many terrible trays there she felt no remorse or fear for getting caught for their deed. They were justified simply by how atrocious the darn things were.
They would need two trash bags, but he could carry one to his room while she kept guard over the other. Than he could help her carry the other to her own room. With a nod, he grabbed another bag and they filled it quickly. "Shall I take one to my room, than come back for you and the other?" They were heavy, after all.
"I'd say I could handle myself... but if you insist~" She never could pass up an opportunity for a guy to help her, especially one as fun as Yuushi. All that time wrestling her twin brothers so they'd behave paid off in giving her quite a bit more strength than people would imagine. But the sheer ugliness of the trays would make the task of carrying to back to her room torturous if done alone.
"Okay. Let's drag them out of here and you can hide out with one, while I throw the other in my room, okay?" And with that, Yuushi was dragging both bags of trays out of the cafeteria and into the courtyard, before lifting one over his shoulders. "Be back in a flash!" And he was gone.
She laughed as he zoomed off, for an upperclassman he sure was a kid about pranks. Definitely a fun way to waste her first day though, hiding a bag full of god-awful prison trays in her room until the camp replaced them. She just hoped no one would pass by as she was fresh out of excuses for why she was guarding a garbage bag.
He was back in two minutes, grinning at her. "Show me the way~" He said, hauling the second bag over his shoulder.
"Follow me~" she winked, leading him toward her room. Once they got there she opened the door so he could slip in and closed it after making sure the coast was clear for them to stash it away.
She was just as good as he was at sneaking about and keeping a look out and he couldn't help but grin. "Perfect! I wonder how long it'll take for the trays to be replaced..." He set the bag down on her carpet.
"Who knows, hopefully soon. If it takes too long we can start spreading the word. I know my way around gossip." Though she did want to try and avoid causing too much trouble there... but if she kept meeting people like Yuushi she knew she'd have a hard time. Not that she minded deep down~ "I swear if I get any nightmares having those things in here though I'll never forgive you." she pouted slightly.
"But we don't want the fingers pointed at us~ And I'm sure it will be corrected soon." He said with a nod. Than chuckled. "If you have nightmares, you tell me and I'll stash them all in my room." Yuushi replied, reaching out to tug on a lock of her hair.
"Good, I'll hold you to it then." she giggled, and tugged at his shirt in retaliation.
