After yet another day in the slope, Fuji came inside, roses on his cheeks and eyes about as bright as the tip of his nose. Now he longed for a hot mug of chocolate.
Spinning his bag easilly, Atsushi noticed Fuji, "Ooooi~" he waved his arms slightly. He had a muffler covering half of his face so it came out as a blurr of sound, despite the indoor temperature Atushi remained adamant to wear as many layer s as possible so he didn't get sick.
"Oh look, it's Big Foot," Fuji smiled, flopping down in a sofa.
"I'm not that hairy~" Atushi whined, pulling the muffler below his mouth just for such an occasion.
"Well, maybe you're not." Fuji stretched lazily. "What have you been up to?"
"Throwing snowballs at the deserving and paying for it~" Atushi chimed, plopping down beside him, "What about you?"
"Skiing," the blond grinned cheerfully. "I love this~!"
Atsushi leaned back into the sofa, "Ooo, I should try that~" he set his feet up on the coffee table and smirked, "It's pretty fantastic~"
"It is." He sighed, content. "I'm hungry though."
"Actually hungry, or peckish?" his stare found it's way to the foodbar where he saw a sanwhich on display with his mental ownership stamped all over it, "I'm a bit too lazy to get up and move... I will if you do..."
"Not moving an inch," Fuji decided. It wasn't worth it. Besides, he was far too comfortable like this.
Lazy," Atsushi chuckled, finding his niche in the couch. They had really good taste in furniture, he decided.
Fuji could only nod in agreement. "Everyone's allowed to be a little lazy every now and then," he decided.
"Spending quality time expressing your need to not move an inch, it's a good way to spend a free day," he clicked his neck to one side.
"I know... It's really... comfortable." He gave a small, lethargic smile.
"As much as I love the open air..." Atushi paused and stared at the ceiling, "Currently I think the most active thing I'd do outside is make a snowangel... and even then I'm pushing it a little."
"Snowangels are very pretty though," Fuji said thoughtfully. "I like them better than real angels... But I've heard that Michael's supposed to be very hot." Hello, random thought.
"With snowangels... I keep getting that random bit of snow still standing between my legs. Kind of frustrating," Atsushi knodded slightly, "There was art of the angel's around SeiRu, I mean, if you're going to pick an angel to follow after. I think Michael would be a good pick." He was sure there wasn't anything in the bible about coveting angels... though, he could be mistaken.
"I kind of like him, yeah... And I don't know... I like Uriel as well. I like the name."
Atsushi hummed in agreement, "It's kind of cute."
"I know, it is, isn't it?" Fuji hummed cheerfully to himself, staring up at the ceiling.
Atsushi dipped his head to one side, "One thing I liked about SeiRu, I think, well not really actually. I didn't like the godly bits so much. I didn however like it a lot when me and the duck dyed all of the habits an ongodly shade of pink..." and amused smiled grew on his face, "I quite liked that week."
"... Oh my." Fuji giggled, turning to look at him. "I... don't expect it to have been popular, hm?"
"Surprisingly? They were really sour about it," Atsushi raised his eyebrows at Fuji, all innocence, "Such bad taste they have sometimes. Then again, any bright colour and black looks a bit tacky to me."
"True. I'm somewhat fond of black and neon colors though. Maybe I'm simply tacky myself." Were this conversation actually going somewhere? He wasn't certain.
"Hm?" Atsushi blinked, "Not actual fashion advice mind you, I heard it on some fashion faux par show." Atsushi chuckled, "Neon looks good for raving." He went with the flow, talking about whatever came to mind.
"Raving? I've never raved... Have you?"
Atsushi shrugged, "Nah, but I'd imaging the colours would look good in the lighting."
Fuji nodded thoughtfully. "That's probably right." He smiled, stretching. "So... how are you enjoying the trip so far?"
"It's good, cold. I quite like flinging snowballs at people," He smirked, "Though, I would have liked the beach. Complete polar opposite, but you get what you're given~ Got to enjoy it."
"Maybe next time we get to go to Indonesia or something," Fuji mumbled dreamily. "But... I'm quite fond of winter sports myself."
"You went skiing right? How was it up on the slopes?"
"Quite lovely," Fuji said with a smile. "I recommend them~"
Atsushi laughed, though it was more like a quick and short 'hah!', "I think I'd be better staying on my own two feet. As much as I'd love to try... and probably debated it. I might fall on my face and that's just not on."
"But that's half the fun though," Fuji pointed out. "Well, as long as you don't hurt yourself."
"I think if I fall on my face, likely chance is that I will get hurt are a little high. Though, I could be wrong," Atsushi smirked, "No harm in trying?"
"It all depends on how you fall, and if the snow's forgiving enough to cradle you," Fuji mused.
Atsushi shrugged a little, with a smile "Indeed, I might have a trip up then... later. When I can be bothered moving further than the coffee machine," he laughed a little, "Want to see my fails with me?"
"Of course, I'd be honored," Fuji smirked, shifting a bit to make himself more comfortable.
"Honoured?" Atushi chuckled, "Well, I guess it could be an honour to see me fall on my ass. I'm usually quite graceful," always the picture of modesty.
"Why, thank you." Fuji couldn't help but giggle. This was so pointless... But at the same time, so much fun.
"You're very welcome~" Atsushi covered the bottom half of his face to supress his own giggle, "You know, Yuuta never said how much fun you were to talk to~"
"I'm sure Yuuta said a lot of other things about me," he pointed out dryly, a pang of the old pain returning for a second.
Atsushi smiled at Fuji, "He didn't say much actually, I knew he saw you as his goal. That's about it. If we mentioned you he got all huffy... so we mentioned you a lot." Atsushi could be quite the asshole when he tried, or didn't.
"Ah, I see." Fuji's smile was somewhat bleak.
"I...." Atsushi tipped his head to one side, thinking about it, "do believe the guy adored you. Hated being in your shadow, but who doesn't hate living in the shadows? But the kid really did think of you as his goal, I think."
Fuji nodded, slowly. "I hope you're right. I'm just... Still not quite happy with how our relationship was back then, that's all."
He crossed his legs on top of the table, "I hope I am too, I quite like it when I'm right..." he looked over at Fuji, "Brother's are complicated things."
He nodded. "Yes, they are. Especially when close in age."
"Or, y'know, the same age," Atsushi looked up at the ceiling, "There's always that bond there though, I quite like that bond."
Fuji nodded. "I... know what you mean." He pulled up his knees close to his chest, hugging them.
"Yours isn't gone, y'know. Still there, just gotta wait for his bit of effort to kick in," Atsushi pulled a face, "Waiting is very... taxing. Maybe he'll come to camp sometime. Bring the bloody duck with him."
Fuji nodded. "I'm hoping he will," he said softly.
"Little brothers love their older brothers... even if they don't quite like their shadows," Atsushi shrugged, "But, eh, that's life."
Again, he nodded. "I can't say I can put myself in that situation, but... It's good to know. And big brothers usually wants what's best for their little brothers."
"They do," he smiled lightly, "And they know it, most of the time it's just them trying not to admit it. They can be a little stubborn like that." It would take a lot of pestering from someone to make Atsushi admit he truley adored his older twin, not that he didn't usually speak of him positively. It's just very hard to get a Kisarazu to speak without a sarcastic lilt in their voice.
Fuji chuckled behind his hand. "This is quite the interesting conversation, you know."
Atsushi thought about it, "Fun, that's one word for it," he tried to pace back through the conversation to see how they got onto brothers and could only get the picture of fluro and black high-heels... which he didn't know if that was remotely relevant. He nooded slightly, "The things you talk about when you can't be bothed moving, aye?"
"Yes... I've never really bummed around like this before. It's pretty amazing in it's complete mundaneness."
"It makes life a lot easier, when you stop and just watch it fly past for a while," Atsushi looked over at Fuji, "Makes it a lot easier to look at."
Fuji returned his gaze seriously. "I... think I understand what you mean. And I really should try and do that more often, I think."
"I recommend it~ very theraputic," Atsushi smiled lightly, "The sky is good for it," he leaned slightly back in his chair, "All you gotta do is talk to the wind. As much of a hippie thing it sounds like, it works half the time."
"I like hippie sounding things though," Fuji said cheerfully. "Not a bad idea..."
"They're quite nice~~" Atsushi agreed, "Take time out for yourself sometimes, it's good for you~"
"Thanks for the advice, Atsushi." He smiled. "I really appreciate it."
"You're welcome, anytime Fuji~"
