“Next Match, Yagyuu vs. Kawamura!” The acting referee called out, and Taka exhaled as he shook out his shoulders. He moved to shake Yagyuu-kun’s hand, and got into position. Moving into position to receive the ball, someone called out, and he was embarrassed to notice that he didn’t have his racket in his hand. The same someone brought it to him, and the moment his hand grasped the handle, his embarrassment was out of his head. “BURNING, BABY! COME ON!” He shouted over to Yagyuu in English.

Yagyuu murmured a "Let's have a good game" as they shook hands before he made his way to the baseline. Kawamura's shouting was as loud and... as badly constructed as always. That boy should pay more attention in english. His serve. Yagyuu tossed the ball up, throwing his body weight into the serve, watching Taka return with his usual power shot. "Good shot." he said, hitting it back.

Taka had never played Yagyuu-kun before, so he was keeping it safe, seeing how things went off before he brought out the big guns. “COME ON, BABY! LET’S GO!” Was his engrish shout as he returned the ball with a smash.

The bad english seemed to get on his nerves a little more than it really should and Yagyuu hit back the ball with a bit more power than intended. "You need to work on your accent, Kawamura-kun." He resisted the strange urge to reply in english, if only to show the other how to properly pronounce certain words.

The power player was very able to take the powerful shot very easily, even without using
his Hadoukyuu. But it was a good shot. “NICE SHOT, Sexy Glasses-kun!” He shouted out, as he watched his shot go over the net.

1-0. 1-1. 2-1. 2-2. 3-2. 3-3. 4-3. Kawamura was getting pumped up, and worked up enough to start using a Hadoukyuu, to try and win over Yagyuu’s service game. At the service, he powered up and yelled out as he hit the power shot across the net. “COME ON! BRING IT, SEXY GLASSES-KUN! BURNING!” He yelled in engrish.

The utterly destroyed english was slowly wearing down Yagyuu's self control, no matter how much he tried to ignore it. The sexy glasses-kun was just... he had no words for it. Taka's shot was perfectly positioned, he'd be an idiot if he didn't take advantage of it... Yagyuu drew his arm back and hit a laser beam, striking the pose, the ball rocketing towards Taka...

“LET’S GO! BURNING!” Taka yelled, as he got into position to receive. And receive he did. Brown eyes went wide and he couldn’t help but whimper. All he could see was silver stars twinkling in his vision, and he labored to catch a breath, before suddenly he roared. “OH GOD! MY ACHING BALLS! SHIT! MY BURNING BALLS, FUCKIN’ HELL.”
Taka was dealing with the injury very admirably, considering it had been a proper laser hit with a tennis racquet and not a baseball bat... "Are you alright?" He called across the court. "Perhaps you should sit down." Maybe he should go get some ice and... yes.

“JESUS CRIST! MY POOR BALLS!” He Yelled out, and dropped to his knees. But, while he dropped to his knees, his racket fell from his hand. And suddenly, the engrish was back to Japanese. “God, it hurts…” He whimpered out, holding his hands over the tender spot.

Yagyuu hurried to the other side of the net as soon as Taka dropped his racquet. He patted Taka on the shoulder and murmured some pointless things like "sorry" "it'll be okay"... "Come on Kawamura-kun. Sit down. I'll go get you some ice."

It hurt so much, his eyes were squeezed shut and he could only hyperventilate. God, it hurt so bad…. “Oh, geeze…Yagyuu-kun, I think you need to work on your aim…”

Akutsu grumbled in his sleep at a sudden loud yell. He attempted to muffle the sound with his pillow but when the yelling didn't stop he sat up. He didn't bother to listen to what was being yelled and stood up walking over to the source of all of the noise. "Oi... Kawamura..." He shoved the other lightly sticking a finger in his ear to drown out the sound. "Wake up!" He gave another shove. He was surprised that the other two in the room hadn't woken up.

In the midst of trying not to cry, because Damnit, he wasn’t that pathetic, when suddenly, he jerked awake. “Wah-ha?” He blinked into the darkness, and could barely make out the form of his friend. He turned on the small bedside lamp, and reached under the covers, pulling them up to check to make sure they were still intact. “Jin…I…Oh god, they’re still there….” What a creepy..strange dream.

"The hell are you talking about?" Akutsu asked. He didn't bother to even ask what Taka was checking under the covers for.

"My balls....I had a dream...." He was still feeling dazed and confused, and he slowly put the covers down, assured that his balls were very much still there, and very much still not broken.

"Right..." Akutsu wasn't sure if he really wanted to know. "A dream about what?” He asked anyway. He was sure that he was going to regret asking.

“I…Yagyuu-kun and I…were playing tennis…Ah…he hit a laser…under the belt.” He took a deep breath in and exhaled. “I’m…sorry that I woke you up, Jin…”

Akutsu almost laughed. He remembered that day Yagyuu had lasered Sanada. Though that had been with a baseball and not a tennis ball, he had thought that it had been a good shot. "Whatever..." He leaned against the wall next to Taka's bed. "You good now or are you afraid you might get lasered again if you go back to sleep?"

“…I hadn’t thought of that. I don’t even want to THINK about such a horrible dream again…” Taka rubbed at his eyes, and tried not to think about the dream again.

Akutsu snorted. "You'll be fine..." He patted the other on the shoulder.

"I...Of course. I'm sorry Jin, for waking you up." He murmured, giving the other a embarrassed smile.

Akutsu shrugged. "Whatever... Just try not to let it happen again." He pushed himself off of the wall. "And I get an extra hour to sleep in..."

Chuckling softly, he nodded. "I'll do better than that. I won't bother you at all today. Thank you, Jin..." He reached out to turn the light out and try and get more comfortable. Hopefully, he would have dream-less dreams...

"Right... whatever..." He walked back to his own bed and and lied down pulling his covers over himself. He liked the promise of not being bothered all day. Now he just had to get back to sleep.

Taka took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down and clear his mind. Right before he fell asleep, his last thought was if he ever ends up playing against Yagyuu-kun for real…he’s wearing a cup.
