In the coming week, there will be the actual selections going on. Lessons will be shortened and students are encouraged to support those who have signed up. There will be matches played between the contestants and other aspiring players from outside the school. All this takes place for the next two weeks

Kite and Wakato would like to. Though Wakato wouldn't get a sponsor and Kite would be like >< I dont' need a sponsor. I'm getting there under my own skill and power. It's not the stuff that makes a tennsi player, it's his skillz.

Soooo I heard the trip was going to be postponed until December. To which I protest.

True, the trip last year was in December. However, back then we went skiing. When you're skiing, cold temperature doesn't really matter. This time, we're going to a beach -- and going to a beach in December is not a very good idea.

End of October in Chiba might get a bit cool, but if we're lucky, there's going to be warm days, too -- warm enough to spend them on the beach. However, if we wait until December, it will be far too cold for anyone to go swimming. And if you can't go swimming, what's the point of going to the beach?

I mean, obviously the decision is the mods', but really, there's just not much sense going to Chiba in December.
