I've Been Walking a Wreck Since the Moment We Met

Oct 03, 2007 23:54

I really wish I updated this thing more often. I really love looking back on old entries and seeing what I did years ago. I am willing to bet that I would want to do that again a couple years from now as well. I do not know why I won't just do that.

I am in my room, enjoying an ice cold Aquafina as of right now. I am pondering the next couple months and how things are going to schedule in and fall into place. I have been pretty busy since my last update.

Chicago/Wisconstin was a good time. Megan ended up coming and I think everyone took to her well. There were some rocky situations between Sarah and I. It sucks, considering we were very good friends. Christian, Chelsea, Katie and I kept it real. Weather was always gorgeous at the house and we all had fun. Ryan was very hospitable. He took Megan and I to Warped Tour so we could enjoy Alkaline Trio, New Found Glory, Poison the Well, Straylight Run, MXPX and Hot Rod Circuit. We also had scout seating for a Sox game. It was glorious.

I went up to Asheville at the beginning of September to see Brian and Brian which is always a good time. We explored and chilled and just had good conversation.

I turned 19. Megan and Kim took me to Mickey Moochs for dinner and we met up with Cortney later on. They made it an awesome time. Megan got me a Sega Genesis that I have been stuck on lately. It's been great re-living childhood memories. Her parents got me the NHL Center Ice package for DirectTV so I can watch every Sabres game this season. It starts Friday, which I am very excited about.

A girl totalled my first car in front of CPCC a few weeks ago as well. It was my '96 Altima and it was hard letting her go. AZinny and I discussed it and it was just a prideful thing to lose. I now own my mom's '95 Maxima. I am still trying to figure out if I like it or not.

I have declared what I want to do with my life. I want to do physical therapy and work specifically with kids or athletes. I am pretty excited about it.

Megan's family and I took a trip to Charleston for a wedding last weekend. With all the weddings I have been attending in the last year, I have really learned what I would want/not want for my wedding. We visited the college of Charleston. It was kind of bitter on my end because I know how much Megan loves it there. I will be going to check out UNC-Greensborro next weekend and going on a few tours. They have physical therapy and club ice hockey there for me and a lot of different art programs that Megan was interested in. I will update again on what my thoughts are on it.

This weekend is the This Waking Moment DVD recording and Eileen's birthday. I want to do something awesome to let her know how much I have appreciated everything she has helped me with since I have met Megan. Next weekend is Greensborro. The weekend after that is New Found Glory, Senses Fail and Set Your Goals which will definitely be awesome. The weekend after that I will be attending Appalachian State with a few friends to see DanBawls, Jessie Moore, Vans, Erik and Scott. The weekend after that will be NC State to visit Stephen Taylor, Alex Martin and Tori Olp. I will be seeing Say Anything at the Disco Rodeo as well.

School is going pretty well. I have an easy semester with English, Sociology, Psychology, Music Appreciation and Physics. Next semester will be a lot different. I will not be able to be as lazy.

As stressed as I am at the moment, things are really going well. It's hard to look at the bad things in life when there are so many things to look forward to. Positivity rules.

Keep it real, and I hope to make this at least a weekly habit from now on.

I love you and God Bless You!
