I bought a radio on eBay and I'm going to install it in my car. This lady at work did it and if she can do it, I can totally do it.
Also, I found these amaaazing wine colored leather riding boots at Goodwill that wouldn't fit over my calves. So I bought them, naturally. They were 7 dollars. I brought them home and like an ASSHOLE went at them with my seam ripper. STUPID Stupid stupid. I got about 2 inches into the first one when it became OBVIOUS that this was the worst idea I'd ever had, so I quit ripping and decided to try them on once more. Tug tug tug, and the leather tears. And not along the seam. So, now I've got one massacred boot that needs to be resewn, magically glued (Oh, and with a glue more magical than the SuperGlue I already used on it, because yeah, that's also what I did), and then gusseted by somebody who KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE FUCKING DOING.
I'm mostly just embarrassed about how I'll hand them over to my shoe guy and he'll be horrified, and I'll be like "Yeah! I can't believe it!! They were like that when I found them..."
