Techwood Homes may not exist anymore, but the people seem to linger on like some sore not yet healed. The puss leaked out on my car a few Fridays ago around two or three in the morning as I slept soundly, snoring to the music of the vandals. For a week I was without a musical outlet, three days with a broken cruise control operator, ten hours with glass in my seats, and six hours without a driver's side window. All is now well, though, and I'm searching for a new place to live, of which I have a few in mind.
Geoff's place in Brookwood is nice, next to Amtrak, I-85 and such. It's rather central in that it's right off of Peachtree, too, with a grocery store within walking distance (definitely a plus).
Monroe Place off of Buford Highway is nice, as well, with another great central location. Melissa, Jamie, and I went to check this place out and we were all quite impressed. The grounds are gated (with real iron gates, none of that PVC pipe bullshit that Centennial pushes off as genuine security) and the apartments come with hardwood floors, WHICH I LOVE! Hardwood kicks carpet's ass. Anyday.
