I lost my mind and decided to try out for a play here called "Grease". Yeah me, no vocal training, musical training, acting classes, drama experience or such. So I took their three offered workshops, singing, cold reading and dancing. I made a fool of myself but had fun doing so. Rats, sorry you didn't get it, L. But I'm glad you had fun, and reminded yourself how much you like dancing. I bet this leads to good things for you, one way or another.

Ouch on the knee. I was having knee problems for awhile, finally saw the doctor, and he put me on an antiflammatory for awhile to let whatever was bothering my ITB band stop bothering it. Not perfect, but pretty good results.

Ah, so that was the dance-related thingy. ; ) Sorry you didn't make a part, but still way to go for even taking the challenge of doing the rehearsal and auditioning. And do consider volunteering from some of the stage work at the theater. You'll get to know more about not only the process but the folks as well. ; )

Definitely sign up to do stage crew stuff. It's fun and will give you a chance to get to know more people. And yay for you for trying out!
