Dear readers, I come before you today to tell you of one of my favorite websites. It is not a place I browse; it is not a place I seek out new content from. It is a place I go when I need to satisfy the song itch in my head, and I don't quite feel like buying a song yet.
It's youtuberepeater.com, but it's even simpler than that, gentle readers. You just find the song on YouTube you want to listen to, put "repeater" after the YouTube part of the URL, and there you go! Your song will be on repeat for you for however long you choose to listen to it.
--what? Oh, I suppose there's an URL addition or extension that will do this for you, but I've never had any success with either of those. This site, though, works pretty much 90% of the time (and more if you know which videos to aim at, too), and within that, works consistently: it repeats for you.
--hm? Oh yes, I could totally just keep hitting the replay button on a YouTube video, too. And I do sometimes, too? But when I really need to get a song out of my head, playing it on a constant repeat is the best way to do it. And that's where this site really comes in handy for me.
--yes? Well, I guess questions are supposed to come in threes, so thanks for keeping up with that rule, but it's really quite basic and not much else to talk about. Unless you want to theorize on whether consistent repeat vs. interrupted repeat (having to hit a button to make a song play again) is more effective for you, but that, I think, may be a post for another time. Or a study of some sort, even.
(This post really brought to you by
Become Meguca. On repeat, of course.)
