Let's see if I can do this...
My most recent job--which is the only job I've read had since the last one, minus that one day in the summer*--is a lot of data entry, work from home, detail focused kind of thing. This, as it turns out, makes me actually be able to listen to albums. I've never really been an album person, as I tend to glom onto single songs and just enjoy this, with an occasional album stand-out if I actually grab the whole thing. But it works well for this job, so, out of curiosity--for those still reading--what albums would you recommend to me?
Cavaet: It does need to be fairly upbeat music. This is music to keep me focused, not so much music to weave magical textures about my mind until it explodes in symphonic rapture. The albums I've been listening to recently, for instance, are Marina and the Diamonds Electra Heart and The Family Jewels, with occasional forays into Florence+The Machine. Some pulse pounding required.
Thanks!
