I am sitting here with my cup of candy corn (three types!)
about to go run Ezio off some roofs. Because some of us dress up for Hallowe'en through a controller.
But I wanted to share these couple of songs, 'cause they always come up in my head when I think of "spooky" or "creepy" songs. Plus, most are fun to sing on top of it.

Jonathan Coulton's "Creepy Doll." One of these days, I'd love to write a story based on the whole "honey" section, just for that particular idea.

Blue Oyster Cult's "Harvest Moon." Yeah, sure, these guys did "Don't Fear the Reaper," which is in the canon of awesome, spooky songs (even if the song's message is kinda...everything but.) "Harvest Moon" is sort of a mess in comparison, but I love it for a) the reference to the Spanish, bringing it close to home; b) the way the chorus captures the tension of loving Fall vs. what Fall is and c) the random spooky last verse. My Harvest Moon perfume also works well with this song, it's amazing.

Shivaree's "Goodnight Moon," which is where the icon quote comes from. Because this is pretty much how I feel about spooky stuff: What can I do? It's going to EAT ME.
Happy All Hallows and good Samhain (SOWIN) to all!
In the process of writing this post, I have learned that caramel flavored candy corn is kinda nasty, though apple remains nice. The more you know ====*
