'Ello lovelies. How's life?
It's been interesting here; I got back from IN--and a rather lovely visit with family and co--and went into "hibernation and hermitage" mode. This lasted up until...well, this week, really, when school started back up. Despite a sleep schedule that was just this side of wacky, I made it through this week.
It was unexpectedly exhausting, though. I have four classes back to back on T/R, so I'm in class from 11:00 - 4:45, with short breaks in-between. The latter two classes don't even require my brain much, but by the time I get to the end of that 4:45 class I am dragging. Tuesday I came home and was in bed by 6:30. Last night, 7:30. I hope I can make it back to 10 or so by the end of the semester, 'cause the side effect of that is getting up at 1, 2 in the morning, and despite being sleepy, being unable to get back to sleep.
Oooh, so exciting, I know. But hey, it explains the weird Internet hours I've been keeping.
A side effect of being up that early this morning, though, is I got to see Albuquerque have WEATHER. First, the wind. Then, soon after, the rain: a light but persistant rain that came down in gentle sheets. Then--after giving up all hope of sleep and coming down to the school--an even steadier rain on the way down, wetting the roads thoroughly.
And within a few hours of getting to school: snow! Big, fat snowflakes. These soon turned to the tiny, drier ones, and now it's going back and forth between rain and snow out there. But still, EEE, so much weather in one day! City, I am rather proud of you!
Before I make even less sense, I'm gonna go run my final errand and possibly...go home and collapse. Sounds like a plan :)
