It's Hoover time!
Today, in a burst of productivity, I visited many fine retailers and ended up buying a vacuum cleaner.
I've been meaning to do this since I found the other vacuum had, somewhere in the move, lost its entire set of attachments and, oh yeah, didn't work very well anyways. It is a cheap new vacuum, but it has a canister instead of a bag--a plus!--and some interesting attachment and filtering options. Honestly, though, I just need something that sucks more than I do, badum-tish.
Continuing on the cleaning lines, I bought a wet/dry mop for extra kitchen sweeping power, and another dishsoap sponge for the sink. Tomorrow morning shall be an exciting cleaning time in this house, let me tell you!
I also sent a letter using the school's mail kiosk, which though it looked formidable, turned out to be quite easy and quite handy. It apparently handles larger boxes and packages as well, though I am a bit...dubious.
And I did it all while carrying around a pervasive melancholy, so I'll just being going to bed early here, okay? Okay!
