I'm sure this happens to lots of people, that there are times in your life when you are a magnet for little funny weird things that all seem to happen at once. Like having no hot water on top of insomnia on top of never being on time to work on top of a tale of two kitties

That would make a fabulously funny story in a novel, but I'm sure it's less hilarious when it's happening to you.

It's funny, when you write enough, you get this sense of "okay, this is gonna be a funny story, isn't it?" And it's cheering, somewhat, even as things are sucking!
