Good news, bad news
Good news: I did what I wanted to do today, which was lounge around and do my taxes.
Bad news: Taxes. Ouch. I've had to pay before, but not quite like this.
I also watched three old episodes of Supernatural ("Phantom Traveler," "Bloody Mary," and "Skin," for the curious). Man, one of these days I'd like to take raynos or himawari on a quick tour like that and see what differences we can pull out. It's a fascinating example of growth on both sides of the production process, I think, but I'm curious to see if they catch what I catch. Like Dean's weirdly high voice (midget!), or the way shot framing has changed so much, and...how much they still suck with the exposition. Also? I miss the journal. And the Hardy Boys vibe, but even more the journal.
Man, am I due an SPN meta post. Been awhile since I did one, and the aforementioned ladies and I tend to get into meta when we watch eps together. So some of that should surely be taken down, no?
But I'm behind on everything right now, so...we'll see.
