Nothing says "home" like a cat on your butt

Back in ABQ.

I'd started an entry this morning, but bored myself with it. Maybe 'cause I'm tired, maybe because I write boring entries. Suffice to say, yesterday was busy with the shopping and visiting and wrapping things up. And I nearly put my fist through my sister's face at more than a few points in the morning, though it got better. (She nearly did the same to me. If I had said it one more time...)

Anyways, so...it's just lucky I didn't have the phone access to Twitter, else it would've all been, "I'm going to beat her with a lead pipe."

Surprisingly pleasant flight back. Not so pleasant start--I got to Midway at a little after 4:00 to find Southwest closed, closed, closed, with a big ole line, just for fun. So we stood around and grumbled and right as I went out for a smoke, they opened the counters. (Grumble.) However, security wasn't too bad, the wait wasn't too bad, and as said before, the flight was surprisingly pleasant. It might've helped that I ate three books over the course of two plane rides. (Well. Chunk of one, about three-quarters of another and a whole one.) Normally I get very twitchy and antsy on flights, but I must have slept just enough yesterday to take the edge off.

Now am home. Need to go pick up mail and get some food, but I don't want to move the cat yet. We're both so comfy. Zzzzzz...
