Head, shoulder, knees and toes~
I had a dream this morning about doing Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in Navajo for one set of students. I'd done it yesterday for A's class, but wasn't sure if I would do it for P's class today. In the dream, I was kinda confused by it--I kept pointing to things on the board, but couldn't quite get everything lined up.
I did end up doing it for P's class today. They applauded, like A's class did, but my explanation was shorter and I completely forgot the syntax bit. Got the phonetics part in, though, which I neglected to do yesterday. Trade-offs!
It was a good class overall, though. Lots of discussion of accent and dialect, which I don't think we've covered all that much. Must have been an autobiography thing.
I stayed late in the Lab tonight again. Working on my endurance! I mostly did Twitter and some LJ maintainence, then watched SPN with the girls and started a DVD commentary for a 'fic. That is going to be looooong--I am a terribly chatty person.
I also got my Trick or Treat Inquistion order today--plus an extra bottle of smellie, minus the soap I ordered. I shall have to ask Puddin' about that.
