Conferences make my head hurt
Ow ow ow! And in other news, I'm coming up on 12 hours awake. I know this is a normal span of day for most people, but there's something about starting your day at 5:15 and not quite knowing when it's gonna end that just makes it seem so looong. It's not bad when there's things to do, but the downtime is killer.
However, the conference seems to be going quite well, no matter how much my head is throbbing right now.
And in other news (and this is very important to the study of linguistics): Sally Rice is hot. I really should stop guessing how people look, but I figured her for the usual OLDER + RAIL THIN schema of prominent women linguists. But nope, she's tall, cheery lookin' and quite fine.
Also in other good news: my name tag says TABAKO no hime on it. :)
