Since I breathe, drink, and eat, it's not in my best interest to vote Republican.

Since I don't believe these are The End Times and that there's no need to plan for anytime beyond next year, it's not in my best interest to vote Republican.

Sorry, I should have worded better. Majority of people = majority of electoral college.

money for nothing = welfare, overly subsidized programs with little or no verification, i.e. liberal spending and government expansion.

Looking at Clinton's presidency I see several things. First off he refinanced the national debt with short term high interest rate bonds, giving the appearance of a reduced debt, but only screwed us after he left office. Secondly he also signed a balanced budget amendment, which was authored by Newt and the Republican congress which was part of the contract with America. Now most democrats try to give Clinton credit for both of these tasks, but that is not the complete story.

He also got the so called "Surplus" by adding what the Government was taking in for Social Security and subtracting that large amount from the debt, so no there was never a "surplus" just one on paper. Basically he stole from SS to make himself look good and the next year it went back to SS and we had the same debt we have had for decades.

The economy was better for 2 reasons. Dot com and reagan's economic policy came to fruition.

The simple fact is I don't want to pay for others who don't put in the pot, millions of other voters don't want to pay for them either. A true investor does however take the risk of buying something they don't really want to keep in order to sell it to someone who does at a greater cost. Every market goes bull and bear, but to just give it away is not good business sense.
