We're Moving! And this is how it will start, if you participate.
After some great brainstorming with a couple of other players (Thanks for helping my lack of ideas) I wanted to post what will be the cause of catastrophe in LA, so everyone will know what to expect. This time of year sort of seems like a good time to cause some trouble, with all the folks who think the world is coming to an end and all that. Anyway, I digress, natural disaster is the way we will go.
This will give those that want to move the opportunity while those that don't want to relocate can stay in LA and write through the aftermath. Both ways should provide lots of new opportunities for RP of some kind!
The idea is : A series of earthquakes both on shore and off shore. With a final devastating quake off shore that will lead to a Tsunami. As it is the time of year for rain and other seasonal weather, we might throw in some bad rain which could have the added side effect of mudslides, which has always been a problem plaguing the west coast. Or, the opposite way, fires, another California issue.
Give me a poke if you have questions/concerns. I will have the first post up by Wednesday to kick off the plot. It would be fun if people wanted to maybe do this round-table style with me and help write the major events as they happen. So like I start it off and then next week someone else writes up a post to move it along? Or in two weeks? Something like that. Let me know if that idea interest you, maybe as a way to get writing again??
