Prelude
Well, this mess sort of just ties up the fact that as a result of the crazy shit that went down at the club (that caused it to blow up, tons of dark Abyss vibes to pour into the city and all hell to break loose--almost literally), Aidan's magic had been bound---yay---but he escaped--boo--, but Catherine was saved by Selene---yay---but was investigated by an elder---booo----who was then made to forget everything by her sire---uh oh--who tells her to move to NYC as part of some mission she's been prepping for, like, forever. Although the events of that night were weird, most could be explained as severe weather events. The dark energy means that crime peaked in the city that night as well, but hey, it's LA.
At the end of the day it was just a way to get her to NYC and tie up the story with Aidan.
