Road Not Taken
Characters have choices they must make in the course of their stories. We see what happens when they take the path they choose, but what of the other possible choices? Take a point in time where your character had a choice to make and consider the following:
What if your character had taken the left turn instead of the right? Zigged instead of zagged, said yes instead of no... listened to that little voice or ignored it? How would things be different for them now? Would they be better or worse? Who would they be today... Saint, Sinner, or someone in between?
The 'fork' is entirely up to you as a player, but to get good use out of it as an opportunity to explore your character, it should probably be a choice of some importance.
This may be a closed Fan-Fiction or a thread.
(I know that everyone is still playing out the AU threads from July's CDE, which are turning out GREAT, so by no means does this mean you need to drop that and move on to August. Just post more, so I have more stuff to read!)
