Yes, I am a registered Republican, but I like to look at every situation from both sides. So while watching the democratic convention this evening, The Governor from this Great State of Arizona was a speaker. I have to say, I really dislike her. I have never voted for her.She really wants Arizona to be part of Mexico. She struck down a proposition that was passed by voters in arizona to deny illegals social services. She keeps denying what those in her state approve. She dislikes the way our Sherrif runs his department, so she yanks his funding. Talk about abuse of power - but then again when you hold the purse strings, you can do whatever you want. I really dislike this woman and I really can't WAIT to get her out of office.
No offense, but I personally thought you were supposed to talkabout why you should vote for Obama, not why you shouldn't vote for McCain. Personally, sounds like they're saying "Anyone but McCain, even if it's not Obama". *shakes head*
CNN was interviewing this woman who was visibly upset at having to make a choice. She didn't like McCain ( She had some valid reasons,I must admit), but at the same time, she didn't know that she wanted to vote for Obama.
I really see this election as an election of "the lesser of two evils". It's sad that our choices have gotten to this point. I really feel that this election is just to tide us over until the next. I hope that there is a beacon of light in 2012 that will give us the options and choices and changes that we are ready for and that we truly need. Until then, I'll vote for McCain. I like the guy here in Az and I like most of the things he stands for. And so here I play a game with the devil, and make my choice
