(no subject)
.. I tried to ignore seeing the men's shoes when I first look into Dillards, but now it attracts my attention because there is a table sitting in the front with a bright lime green table cloth, and a tall green sign...grr.. sometimes I hate perifial vision.
My car died because of high water on Friday night..good thing housekeeping didn't have to call for backup, because there were several Mexicans helping me push my car out of the water into a bank parking lot. They were nice though, and they gave me a ride most of the way to RiverChase to Mike's apartment, it was so flooded they couldn't get me there the whole way, so I got to try and walk through water almost to my waist to get to his apartment building. I got there, and was drenched. Mike is a small guy.. really small, and I had no clothes, but he managed to find some pajama pants that I fit into, and I ended up having to stay the night there. My car didn't start easily the next day, and barely made it back to his apartment complex. Most of the water had drained by then, so we got it parked, and ran a few errands. It started raining again, and my car wasn't starting well, and the parking lot began to flood yet again. I was able to head home after midnight though.
That was definitely an experience.
