This computer rocks my socks.

I am up transferring files from my old computer to my new computer because I can't sleep.  Number one, my tummy is rumbly and making grumpy noises.  Number two, the woman living underneath me seems to be babysitting her grandson, who has been intermittently crying all night.  And when he does cry, she talks to him (I can hear just about everything she is saying).  "Now, stop crying."  "You will get to go home tomorrow."  "Stop crying RIGHT NOW and go to sleep."  "Your mom had to work, you will get to see her tomorrow."  Etc. etc.  I am now amazed that I barely heard the previous woman who lived beneath me.... maybe she was just a really quiet person.  I had no idea that sound carried through my floor until this new woman moved in....

I bought the soundtrack to Across the Universe today.  Very excited.

I am also contemplating making my journal friends only.  For some reason, lately I have been feeling more private about this.... so I might start going back through my entries and gradually "friends-only-ing" the whole thing.

Now I am hungry and tired.  Good thing I have the day off tomorrow - or else I would be supremely grumpy at being awake this late.
