'Tis pleasant diversion. And it does me glad to see the joy in my surroundings that may come with these revels. For thyself, good Remus? Didst thou enjoy the holiday?
I do enjoy a good diversion myself. Crowds tend to suck my energy out after a little while, but I really enjoyed the time that I spent around all of the parties. Halloween is a fairly big to do where I'm from.
Then perhaps there shall be more! I confess I know not what diversions such place offers, except such revels as celebration wants. And such things that are out of doors, as garden and beach and wood. Though I shall be content if these are all to be had.
There are clubs, dance clubs and jazz clubs. Some are places I would never want to set foot in, but there are decently respectable ones around. The Blue Light, for instance.
As well there is a carnivalground on the outskirts of the city. I've never been, but I've heard very good things.
I would of course go with you, although I might suggesting inviting a few more of your acquaintances, so it doesn't look overly inappropriate for me to take your invite.
Dear Tybalt, who stands as father and mother both, and protector and friend.
I shall, an it please thee, though I know 'twould be nothing improper. And cousin Tybalt, who think I see it not, is like to question thee in any case.
He sounds like a wonderful cousin, and a good person to have around in a place like this. I'll just have to remember to rehearse my straight answers for him in front of a mirror, in case he decides to ask them.
I should be lost indeed, an Tybalt were not here. Though I do fret for such temper as his. And thou art nothing that is dissembling nor deceiving! I know such answers as Remus givest shall be true ones. Honesty dwells in thy face.
Well, so long as your cousin can be made sure that I'm not up to anything untoward, I would love to enjoy the carnival for the first time with you. Thank you for the possibly undeserved compliment.
I shall make it certain. He hath forbid me nothing thus far, and I shall I hope I give him no reason to begin. Even employment, that I feared he would deny me, he has been only happy to allow.
It cannot be proper if they do not, I think.
Hast thou found residence and work, as thou didst hope when last we spoke?
