Look at me posting, I know!

First of all, Thank you Faery for the lovely note.  I'm calling you my NY Faery.  When my grandmother was still sane and living in Manhattan, (89th and broadway right across from the riding school) she would send me little things always with a return address of the "NYC Fairy" And so in a round about way, I'm saying thank you for the smile.  We have a lot of Canadian geese in the smallish lake behind our house and they crap all over my car, but I like them anyway.  They never go anywhere, year-rounders but they do practice flying in giant cirles overhead, in V shape.

Next, I have to tell you all that last week moved past in such a blur of visiting friends and TaeKwon Do, every blessed night (M is now a purple belt)  cooking, trying to keep the house picked up so as not to gross out guests, and somewhere in there making sure customer service was taken care of and Sys admin stuff for the school was completed... But, it was a nice week.  I feel like... I accomplished what I needed to, I cared for my family, I loved on my husband and I further cemented my fledgling real life friendship with

We had such a great talk one night.  Really one of the best , most intellectually masturbatorial convos I've had in a while.  (that's a good thing)

So, this week, I have a lot of board business to deal with.  I'm also trying to deal with a few places that have become clutter magnets around the house ie, the plastics cabinet, the supplements cabinet and the pantry, when you have to throw the cereal box in and close it real fast, or get hit on the head with bar b q sauce....

Today, I took Dylan for sealants and one cavity to be filled, he's home with me now, he was coughing and miserable, now I'm trying to keep him from running outside and he wants to play boxing on the Wii and I really wish I had taken him back to school as I am becoming miserable in his stead.

Dinner tonight is roasted chicken with lemon and rosemary , red potatoes and green beans.  I'd better go buy a chicken.  And ingredients for granola bars.

I don't know if anyone has some spare mojo to toss around... But I have a lot of people going through hard shit right now around me.  Dear friend K is in Vermont, wading through waist deep snow to help handle arrangements etc, her father died on Saturday.   C is having her stitches taken out today after a double mastectomy, she's facing chemo in just a few weeks, her babies are 3 and 5.  B is having a mass removed from very close to her spine an Friday.  Everything in 3s.

Wow, 2:00.  I have to shake a leg!
