Nica shifts in her sleep. At first it's just like how she's been shifting a little before -- getting comfortable. But--but she's stirring. Her eyes don't open yet, but her hand comes up to her forehead and she rolls her lips between her teeth, wriggling.

"....Nica?" He sounds almost hesitant, which in and of itself sounds strange, like it's a separate layer over the rest of his voice. If he knew her full name now he'd be using it like when his mother was pissed off at any number of things he'd done and would interject his middle name into the conversation.

"Mmmm?" she rolls over, blinking her eyes open at him. "Hey..." she pushes herself up on her elbows, smiling sleepily at him until she notices their surroundings. "...weren't we at home."
