Friday:
Lame convention for 508 that I went to for work.
as I got off the metro 2 black guys handing out the Express were like 'ey man it's Michael Jackson! He just needs the glove!" I just smiled, cause I thought it was funny (cause of the hat and ponytail).
Good:
Cheap eats including banana creme and chocolate soft serve
A really cute girl working at a booth with some
argyle tightstrip expensed
Bad:
No really good presentations or information
Douche cowowker
Didn't get to kick any seeing eye dogs (Woulda been able to get away with it (cause the ppl are BLIND)
Then we all met up to see the Lamest Titled Bond Movie yet. at the Uptown. Had a pitcher of shocktop before waiting in line (no dogs were kicked). I think some ppl mighta been loud during the movie, but they were just trying to bring to people's attention some comments they thought were hilarious. By they I mean Steve. Well no one told me to STUFU, so I suppose it was OK. minus the dropping the flask like 4 times.
The Movie was entertaining, but as a BOND movie, it fell flat, IMO
GOOD:
- Olga, cause she is Fing Hot (see Hitman for more of her)
- Action sequences were intense
- quasi Spectre organization hinted at
- Alicia Keys
- Bond killing people
- some humour
BAD:
- Olga, cause her costumes were rather lame and Bond never boned her.
- Action sequences were confusing and the shaky camera work was annoying
- quasi plot was hinted at. It was rather difficult to really follow things
- No Q, few if any puns, one fancy car (that got quickly F'd up by a G36 among other things
- Alicia Keys not actaully in the movie, and doing a terrible job on a horrible song.
- Bond killing people (too much of an assassin, but I agree that is part of his job
- Not enough humour, it was trying to be too serious, IMO
So Overall, I was disapppointed.
