I should go again, but with my Achilles problem, I just couldn't walk it without crippling myself permanently, and the $80 PLUS the rental fee for an electric scooter is just something I won't do. I could do a lot *else* with that amount of money that I would enjoy more.

I do want to see the new PoTC, though, and I love it when the Haunted Mansion is done up for Nightmare, that is really cool.

The Blue Bayou is really the only actual restaurant in the park, and almost the only place to get decent food. I don't think anywhere outside of New Orleans Square has decent food. I know the restaurants at the Disneyland Hotel are good, but expensive $$$.

The only two things I like at California Adventure are Soaring Over California (god I love that, I could ride it 10 times in a row) and the 3-D Muppets show, that is a hoot.

Glad you & mom enjoyed yourselves!

I've never been to Disneyland, but I went to Disneyworld a few times when my sister worked there...the last time had to have been about twelve years ago. I'd love to go back sometime; it's like being a kid again. :)

Sounds like you and your mom had a great day!

I can't believe that they have Christmas decorations up already! Isn't that just a little early?

I've never been to either Disneyland or Disney World, but it sounds like fun.

I did see something I coveted: a Pirates of the Caribbean Monoply game, but it was too expensive for a game I'd never play. :::sigh:::

I'm a sucker for things like that, too.
