GIP (and End of Time spoilers.)

I can't help it, I like Simms as the Master. And I like DT as the Doctor. I wasn't really thrilled with the how Ten's story wrapped up. Not thrilled with RTD, either. Thanks to Bridge, I have a sensitivity to when the people behind the show sacrifice the story for the sake of their egos.

There were many things that didn't make sense or were loose ends. Who was that mysterious woman that would appear to Wilf, why the planet Gallifrey do a drive by, and what the hell happened to the Master? It was very sloppy. And I didn't care for the prolong goodbye. I'm only a casual viewer but I was under the impression that the Doctor was well aware of his memories from different regenerations. It's a children show; should they be led to believe the Doctor was dying? I thought it lame the way he 'said goodbye' to various characters. I didn't like Donna but I'd rather have not had her in the episode than see the lame way they made use of her.

I ambivalent seeing Capt Jack picking up a werewolf. Of course he'd be licking his wounds by being around a place like that, but it seemed odd to throw that in the episode.

I thought the best part was when the Doctor and the Master had that heart to heart in the dusty warehouse. The Doctor pleading with the Master to come with him. That was really, really good. And I bet a lot of people who write DW will use that scene as a basis for lots of stories.

I don't like Eleven. He's too young and really odd looking. He's very manic, but so was Ten at first, so maybe that will sort itself out. I used to download the show because I was so eager to see it, but in the last two seasons, I thought The Next Doctor was the only really cool episode.

So, I'm very meh about the ending. I like Moffat's scripts, but I've noticed some repetition of themes. Hopefully he's got more colors in his palette as show runner. Time will tell.

Btw, I see Being Human season two starts soon. Will it have all three of the leads back?

Thanks!
