Thanks for getting back to me. It's like talking to my 'adult' side. *g* That is so funny, when usually I'm the one who will drop everything at the last minute and decide to go to a con. But I really have been giving some thought to this one, ever since David was announced.
I assume Creation just couldn't get Flanigan and Hewlett on the same day. Same for Chicago. However, the MS and JF pic is just wtf as far as I'm concerned. Sure, I like them both a lot, but they were almost never on screen together. So why would I care? I guess perhaps I'd think about the photo just to see the two of them interacting some. But, they're ACTORS. What you would see would be two gracious actors who respect each other. Not friendship. Nothing like the little chortle that Joe gave when he was autographing the pic I have with him and David. And the friendly jokes he made about him. Now, THAT was gold!
If I really want to see DH and JF at the same con on different days, I'd probably go to Chicago. Much cheaper, both travel-wise and con-wise. Or hopefully DH will also be going to LAX in November. Though that con might be too small to spend the money on three big stars (four if you count Browder.)
It's a shame to turn down Bonnie's ticket, though. Perhaps, had I known this con was still going to have so many SG-1 and SGA guests, even after SGewwww, I MIGHT have kept my Gold ticket. Then again, it saved a LOT of money last year.
