Heroes needs to pick up the pace.
I'm beginning to think Journey Man is really an allegory and they are just using the time travel thing to explore the stress on a marriage if the husband places his commitment to his marriage second, and also what happens when an old flame returns. I would like more emphasis on the unique traveling issue and a lot less of Dan disappearing right when his family needs him most.
Boston Legal. Alan and Denny, holding hands, being supportive, hugging each other. :) I have to admit that I find Alan quite endearing when he's dealing with word salad.
Criminal Minds: I really liked Gideon and I miss him, but I think the team is fine without him. I wish they hadn't felt the need to bring in another 'big name.' Tell me it will be okay....
Pushing Daisies was still entertaining and sweet (and I don't usually like sweet.)
Supernatural: Eh, don't like Bella, but they didn't give this viewer any openings to like her. Sam was adorably miserable with his bad luck and Dean was pretty decent. I don't really see how Bella will naturally fit into other eps, but I guess we'll find out.
Smallville: Ah, we got two seconds of Clark tenderly picking up an injured Lex...only to see Clark spit more unfounded venom at him. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If Clark kills the bad guy, he's a hero. If Lex kills him, he's an evil murdering monster. Oh, and Clark's Krypton buddy gets cart blanche to do whatever to the bad guy. Argh!! Why am I still watching this show?!
SGA:
Don't like Keller as the CMO. She looked panicked when that thing started bursting out of Teyla. Yes, it was her nightmare, but she comes across that way anyway. While she'd be fun to hang with, I wouldn't feel very secure if something unexpected occurred. Multiple times in this episode she seemed very weak.
Loved Rodney being tormented by whales--and clowns--in his dreams.
Ambien?! That's only if you have 8 hours to spend sleeping. Second mistake was Keller getting one for herself. That is a poor choice for someone in her position. Maybe try some exercise and/or warm milk before going for a pill that would incapacitate her for 8 hours.
Loved Ronon's dream. The creature triggers fear and abandonment and betrayal by friends are the scariest thing he can think of. And Ronon had some great lines. I'm glad Ronon is more three dimensional
Carter, how can they take a fairly decent figure and dress it in a uniform that makes her all lumpy in the wrong places?
Loved the sleep walking Lorne scene. Nice. I still think Teyla should have used the A.R.G. on Sheppard. *g*
Killing Heightmeyer? Cooper, GIVE IT A DAMN REST!!
*The Light (you have a bet riding on this.)
*Cold Lazarus (Crystal lifeforms.)
*Entity (Carter taken over by life form.)
*Wolf in the Fold (feeding on our fear, "die, die, die, you're all going to die!" Oops, wrong show.)
*Morpheus (stimulants causing pulmonary failure.)
*Gamekeeper and Avatar (the dream machines.)
*Spirits (Are you you?)
Interesting to see a classic Jack and Daniel argument spoken through the characters of Carter and Sheppard. Carter asks Sheppard, if you want to talk to it, what will you say? Somehow I can hear Jack getting irritated with Daniel and Daniel having to plead his case.
Oh god, Carter still gets to technobabble; this should have been Rodney's speech but since he was in a rubber room, I'll give them a pass on this one.
"I'm pretty screwed up." Rodney is so adorably vulnerable, laying on that table being scared. {{hugs}} Also loved Rodney going into Sheppard's dream and the "I thought there'd be more hot girls" remark. Now why aren't there hot girls, eh boys?? But I laughed hysterically when Sheppard had the defibrillator patches on his tummy.
I thought it stupid to have all the crystal forms lighting up back on the planet.
And while I did like the last shot of the team gathering together because they couldn't sleep, I have to ask WHY Cooper couldn't have written something like that for SG1? I bet it's because the fans asked for it, and he's petty enough to withhold it just for that reason.
So, it was pretty good but all the SG1 references made me groan.
I'm watching Oprah and they have this guest on that is giving advice to menopausal women. To increase their sex drive, she suggests reading a sexy book to get in the mood. She has a friend that calls that "cliterature." Slash is concentrated cliterature. *g*
