The Station Agent - Review
Wow, I have not been this impressed with a movie for a while. Everything about this movie was fantastic. The cinematography was spot on, the acting was superb, the story and pacing were great.
I will qualify my comments with the statement that I like character driven movies. There are some people that really don't like character driven movies. If that is the case then this movie is not for you.
The ending might leave some unsatisfied if the viewer is used to, and expecting a Hollywood ending where all questions are answered and all lose ends are tied up. For some movies, detective, action, etc., I expect that, but for character driven movies I don't really need it. Watching a good character driven movie is like hanging out with interesting people for a few hours. You don't need to know all about where they came from, and after they leave you don't really care where they go.
