Thursday night I went to the Dane Cook show and I think I've ever laughed harder than I did at that show. It was just fucking amazing... maybe I laughed too much, I wonder why? Cannot wait until he releases a new cd with all that new material on it because it will be so much better than the first. After the show I come back expecting to just chill out, listen to some music, or something similar. I am then told to go see friends on the floor below me and, of all people, Anne is there waiting for me.
At first I was so overwhelmed, confused, and kinda out of it at the same time that I was unsure of what to do with myself. Then I realized, "hey my girlfriend is here I should be excited" and I enjoyed my night even though we couldn't go to sleep since it was one of the few times my roommate needed to study or something all night. The next morning she had to go back to Ann Arbor before noon because she had a midterm. I knew she wanted me to go back with her but she knew I did not know how I would get home yet I convinced her we'd just figure it out later.
Hanging out with Anne for two days straight was great. We went out, hung out with her friends, had all sorts of fun. Overall there were some ups and downs yet in my opinion the extremely good highs cancelled out the kinda crappy lows and then some.
I did end up getting a ride home from mike after we flyered the campus for SSA where we could. FYI if anyone needs to flyer UofM remember its not stapler friendly, bring lots of tape instead.
I was just thinking about cake for some reason or another and this picture reminded me of the amazing power is has...
...mmmmm, cake
