real update
That's right! Go refill your coffee mugs, turn off your televisions, I am about to update you formally on the state of my ceaselessly captivating life!
(No, I have not grown any less sarcastic.)
I am closing in on the end of my second-to-last semester of undergrad, which is both overwhelming (the work!) and exciting (finally!). I am, at this point, mostly hoping I can fit all the classes I need into this last semester to actually be done in May... cross your fingers for me. After that, the tentative plan is to find a job in publishing somewhere between central PA and Northern NC that will allow me to support myself and will feel inclined to eventually pay for grad school. Again, tentative. I may still just go straight to grad school, who knows. But I am absolutely itching to leave New York; it's just too damn cold here, and I hate that.
In the meantime, I still work too much at my still completely frustrating job and barely have time for a social life, and still can't prioritize schoolwork the way I should. Even so, aside from being perpetually sleepy these days, I'm doing fine. As for a so-called "lovelife," well, I decided just last week to shut it off. Like a faucet: righty tighty. Anyway, hope you're all (or at least those of you about whom I might actually give a shit) doing well. It's very likely the impending Christmas season will find me given to uncharacteristic optimism and cheer, thus more LJ posts. Until then, friends.
