Cats and Gasoline
After being blissfully asleep for an hour and a half I was just awakened by the unpleasant whinings of a goddamn cat in heat. Right outside my bedroom window. At first I thought it sounded almost human, and was kind of freaked out. But, no. Cat.
My roommate was able to go scare it away, but now I can't go back to sleep. Yet another reason to hate those wretched creatures.
This would also be a good time to mention the OTHER super annoying thing that happened to me within the last 24 hours. On my way home from work today I stopped to get gas. Put the pump in the hole like always. It filled like always. Then, instead of peacefully clicking off on its own once my tank was full, the pump flung itself out of my car and sprayed gasonline everywhere, dousing my legs and feet.
Oh, AND ruining one of my favorite pairs of shoes in the process. I had to abandon them, as they were smelly, soiled, and highly flammable.
I went home barefoot.
