Overheard at Montana Walk

Friday night was Montana walk, which my roommate so kindly introduced me to. Basically, all the stores stay open extra late and have hors d'oevres, champagne, and desserts for all. Stuff is also on sale, but not enough for me to actually buy anything. Good holiday fun. So this one bakery (that I assume makes fancy cakes) had a girl sitting in the display window that was completely costumed as Marie Antoinette (make-up, dress, five-foot white hair, the works). As I looked at the display from the sidewalk, two young girls walked by, at which point I overheard this:

"GOD. Can't we just behead her??"

"UGH, I know."

"I mean, they beheaded the REAL Marie Antoinette!"

"Yeah, so why can't we behead HER??"

*huff*
