Randomness...
My youngest son is having trouble in school...we are trying to work with him but he is not learning disabled...the things he has trouble with are so random. I really think he is bored. I was in school and underachieved to make a point....I did things like he does now that I think of it. My mom was told I could be gifted but was unable to get in in anything extra or advanced classes. I don't want him to end up like me. If I was not about to have this baby I would home school him for a year.
This baby...Gabriel has been a source of healing for me. He was not planned but I think he came at the right time when you get down to it.
Also, seriously, I never thought the name Gabriel would end up being such a sticking point. My parents act like they hate it, lol. Their suggestions for alternatives make me cringe. No, I will not name the boy Mario! His middle name is Abdul Malik which also has gotten some flack. We might pick something different but right now it works.
I had to have a sex talk with my oldest son Adrian. He has started to have dreams about girls. He will be 10 in January. We went over both the religious side and the more practical side as well. Need to add STD and birth control in the discussion soon.
