The Election
So it is a few days after the election. I am pissed off that we have 4 more years of Bush. I wasn't expecting Kerry to do better than Bush, to win or as President, but at least with a Democrat in the White House we could have had a decent economy.
It seems that a Senator can't get elected into White House for the past few decades.
Bush - Governor of Texas
Clinton - Governor of Arkansas
Bush Sr. - Vice President under Reagan
Reagan - Governor of California
Carter - Governor of Georgia
Ford - Vice President under Nixon
Nixon - Governor of California
Johnson - Vice President under Kennedy
Kennedy - Massachusetts Senator - Last President to go from Congress to the White House.
As for 2008.
Democrats - I believe that it will be Hillary Clinton in the primaries, but I don't know if she will win the Democratic nomination, who it will be I don't know. Depending on the Republicans(see below) she will most likly be the best candidate.
Republicans - I believe that it will be Guliani or McCain. Either one would be cool because they are very likeable guys, and their policies are almost centered between Republican and Democrat values so much so that I think either would win by a landslide.
Unless Mrs. Clinton runs and the question would be..If the women come out to a possible 75%+ turnout if a woman runs for President, then and only then would she have a chance against someone like Guliani or McCain.
