Don't get me wrong. It is truly not my aim to be self-righteous in any way but maybe some of you wanna help and just don't know how...
HAPAG-ASA FEEDING PROGRAM OF PONDO NG PINOY
I read about it in the newspaper and I was researching about it just now but couldn't find anything. But anyway, here's what I know based on what I read:
The World Health Organization says that if 5% of children in a country are malnourished, it should be adressed immediately. In the Philippines, the percentage of malnourished children is, alarmingly, above or about 30%. To remedy the situation, Pondo ng Pinoy I think has come up with a way to feed the children, first with some sort of formula containing all the important nutrients and vitamins, before feeding them real food.
And get this, one "meal" costs 7.50 pesos. With just 50 pesos you could feed around 6 kids.
They're accepting donations of any amount, you can either send it or deposit it in their bank account if you're gonna make one.
