I am now in love with Buboy Garovillo. ♥ And since it's not possible to be Mrs. Garovillo anymore, can I be his daughter-in-law instead? Oh......but, eew.
Me, my folks, my sister and my Granma watched the Apo Hiking Society yesterday and it was grreaat♥!!!!! According to Danny Javier, I was an Apo Virgin until last night heehee. I LoveLoveLove them!!!!!! Who else could sing a Kundiman to the melody of Bohemian Rhapsody, or, I Get No Doubt (but I get up again, lalala)? Who else could infuse the Marching band (Go Buboy), Chacha and Elvis Presley into one song?! Who else would do a fast-forward version of the first 15 minutes of their show for some lousy latecomers? Who else (but Danny Javier) would hit on an old Lola? Who else would describe a medley as a rope, a wire, a matrix(!), a merry mixture and lastly, when Buboy (yung laging naaapi) ran out of words: "has two songs"? Haha!
I love that most of their songs are 7 years older than me. I love that they started in the late 60's and they're still rocking in the new millenuim. I love their OldOld choreography, though Mr. Jim Paredes thought they should change it. That ended quite disastrously, but I give them props for the effort heehee. I love how they're so gracious. I love their impression of high people in the 60's "W-O-W Wooow"! I love how Buboy is sooo cute ("Akala mo kasi cute ka eh"-said Danny Javier to Buboy) and he ended up marrying the girl Mr. Jim and Danny were fighting over. I love how Danny is one of the greatest Filipino songwriters and how they always tease him about being really dark (kalahi daw niya yung mga taga-Motown) but in truth, he has the most solos among them three..he's really good,,teehee. I love how Mr. Jim (I cannot let go of the Mister) is SoSo smart, like the Kuya of them all, and can shake it like Elvis. :)
Something reeally funny:
Buboy: blahblahblah...In all honesty, I'm the most "well-traveled" among us three.
Mr. Jim: Huh? Pano nangyari yun, eh pag umaalis ka, lagi naman kaming kasama?
Buboy: Uh Minsan napapahiwalay naman ako....(That was supposed to be funnier but I don't remember what he exactly said, this isn't verbatim obviously.)
Mr. Jim: Osige, where did you go?
Buboy: E di sa Europe......bllahablahahblah
Mr. Jim: (interrupting again) Teka teka, Saan sa Europe?
Buboy: Saan sa Europe? Eh di sa CITY mismo!

I was a little bit sad though because: 1)Time flies when you're enjoying and the concert felt like 20 minutes. 2)I wanted them to play American Junk.

It's the morning of the first day of sembreak and what am I gonna do? Go to school. Darnit.
