Hey, what a way to spend the day.

So, instead of drinking the stressful week away, or having dinner with my friends, I stayed at Tick Tick Boom rehearsals until around 11 to check on costumes and stuff. :] I honestly have no social life whatsoever these days, just: SLEEP (or, most probably, no sleep) + EAT + ACADS + ORG. So yeah, I was kinda hoping to be young again tonight, haha! ... Anyway, it didn't quite work out that way, and I'm actually kind of glad.

I've been watching Tick Tick Boom runs for a while now and maybe it was because I was too stressed and bothered those times, but tonight was the first night I felt it. And damn, tamang life-affirming lang siya eh! Jonathan Larson, tangina magaling ka talaga magsulat! Seriously wonderful songs. I really felt like crying at some points, which was a little weird for me but, whatever. :] And, I dunno, I just got this ...sense of well-being at the end, the one that usually comes with substantially satisfying resolutions and happiness. What it talks about in the end is something that resonates and it kinda gives me hope. Which is a good thing to have. :]

Pati yung actors' notes inspiring eh! One person said, "Find your truth," obviously referring to the character's truth, but still, isn't that great advice? And I missed the general rush of theater, running around backstage, holding your breath all the time. :] It was nice. (God, I miss performing.)

Cages or wings? Which do you prefer? Ask the birds.
Fear or love, baby?. Don't say the answer. Actions speak louder than words.

... Oh, and the song "Why" reminds of the Marauders from Harry Potter. Heehee, nerdy.
