On the debate:
"Chomsky's point, as indicated by McGilvray, is well taken - if one is not fighting for moral progress and for true social justice then there seems to be no point in fighting at all. Surely protest, and resistance in general, is only worthwhile if there is at least some hope that a better, fairer and more just society will come of it."
