So, in a nutshell, I shall be a panelist at ACen with my dear friend touma_karamochi. And, as a bonus, I have been invited to another convention two weeks later, and since meeting new people is always grand, I shall be accepting that invitation. Total cost for both will roughly be $1000, so I shall be extering great willpower.
I hope. [laughs] I'm hoping for more hours at work, though even two months worth of pay ought to have me breaking even with little problem.
I need to do some research, but I'm looking at a few relatively painless ideas:
Heimdall
Onikui
Lulu (she'll need the most work, I think, but I'm hoping I can wear that to a dance with little problem.) with Nii's bunny as my plushie familiar.
Alas, my second convention has a lot of short people (I tease lovingly), because I'd join a Pretear/Saiyuki/Turks group in a heartbeat. Unless you lot could tell me what a tall, thin, pale person could pull off? (My gods, Takako would be wonderful fun, but her hair! And Reno! I could die a happy woman if I was Reno.)
