Pleasant Kisses

Yesterday was nice, very nice. I got up at about ten thirty in the morning and cleaned my room and some of the house, though I'm not touching the kitchen even though it smells because it's not my flippin' mess. So then I called Jesse at about eleven thirty. She came and picked me up noonish. We were trying to figure out a place to go to eat, and I thought it would be a good idea to go somewhere we hadn't gone together, and suddenly the Wisteria cafe in the historic district came to mind. I had only eaten there once, and it had been many months prior to this. So we went. It was very good. It's this very tiny and quaint little place with interesting art and other types of paraphanalia all over the place. I got this really awesome sandwich with sprouts, avocado, cucumber, tomato, hummus, eggplant, um, provolone cheese ... I think I'm leaving something out, but the point is just that it was very good. So after that I was like, "Well, since I always have to decide what we're going to do, it's your turn to think of something." so after a moment or two she decided she wanted to go to the mall to see the cute little squirrels in the pet store I had told her about. So we did. They were completely adorable. There were three of them in the cage. They have this big running wheel, and they were all on it at the same time trying their hardest to run together. It was way neat. So we then walked around the mall a bit. We went to Barnie's and I got a banana freeze since I'm still not consuming any sort of caffeine. So after the mall it was officially my turn to think of something to do, so I suggested the beach. We stopped by my house on the way so I could get sunscreen and we headed out. We walked around a bit and I experimented with putting my arm around her. So we walked around with our arms around eachother and chatting. We went out on the pier and sat down for along time. The wind was blowing so hard and nonstop. It was great. It was like sitting in a wind tunnel. So we were cuddling, and I was determined to kiss her so I kept trying to have that moment. At one point I kissed her sweetly on the forehead then leaned down and we had a small peck of a kiss on the lips. That wasn't what I was hoping for, but it felt like a step. So after we left the beach she wanted to show me the new place she was going to be renting. So we went over there and it is SOOOO nice. It's a house on stilts right beside the tip of Bayou Chico. Some woman lives there and is renting Jesse a room. It was way cool, and the woman has the sweetest cat ever. So after we left I suggested we go to Sluggos to get some food since I was hungry again. The sandwich was good but not too filling. So we went there and they were closed, but we found out that there was show that night, and it sounded like fun. We decided to come back after they opened for the show. So, I was hungry and asked her if she wanted sushi. So we went to Horizen's, since I keep hearing how good it is and it's right up the road from my house. We stopped at my house on the way so I could get some more money. While there we stood around for a minute talking, and I just asked, "Do you mind if I kiss you?" And she said I could. So we kissed the sort of kiss I had been hoping for earlier in the day. It was nice, passionate, and long. So then we got sushi. Horizen's was great. We then went to Sluggos for the show. On the way there I called Jarah to see if she wanted to go, but got her voicemail and left a message. We got there and I had one beer and we sat around cuddling and rubbing eachother's arms, legs, backs, necks, faces, and kissing. It was very nice. Then Jarah showed up! That was neat, and she was with this guy named Jesse whom she had met recently. Jarah wanted to know if I wanted to share a bottle of Sake, so I was like, "Sure." We drank one, and it was so hot and steamy and good! And it turns out they were buy one get one free last night, so we got another. It wasn't enough to get me drunk, luckily, because I didn't want to get drunk in front of Jesse and possibly make a fool of myself. It did get me pleasantly tipsy, which was nice. So we watched the bands, and it was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. At around two in the morning we went back to my house. We had one last nice long kiss in her car, then I went in and she went home. I won't see her today though, she's off work and I have to work. She's moving into her new place today. I start managing tonight, which I'll be doing two nights a week on slower nights, and waiting tables on weekends. Hopefully it'll work out, if not I won't continue to do it.

So for those who don't want to read that whole thing, the summary is this: Jesse and I hung out all day and I finally kissed her. It was much fun. THE END.
