Something I never thought would happen!

Amazing!  My hubby really is slowly becoming a Doctor Who fan!.  I found myself telling him about Rose and the Doctor the other night after we watched Turn Left, and again after Journeys End.  It was an unusual experience.  Usually, he has shown no interest whatsoever in whatever fandom I have become obsessed.  This has been a constant over many, many years.  I don't talk to anyone about what interests me in this way, because there's no one else that I know who likes it.  That's why I spend most of my spare time on LJ reading what other people have to say.  And fanfic - love the fanfic!

I'm relatively new to Who, and didn't see it when it was first run, so I've really appreciated that ABC2 has been showing the whole (new) series, starting with Season 1 and continuing 5 days a week.

We've just come to the end of season 4.  ABC2 has also been showing the Confidentials after each episode.  However, because Journeys End ran longer than usual, they didn't broadcast it (probably because it was 24 minutes long and didn't fit in with their programming).  I checked out iView today, and found that it was available. Hubby was watching something else on TV, so I plugged in my headphones to watch Confidential on the computer.  He asked what I was watching. Told him what it was, and did he want to watch it?

So he drew up a chair and we watched it together.  I'm still waiting for the world to end....! :)

I've set up the first two episodes of Season 1 (Rose and The End of the World) for him so that he can start watching it from the beginning.  Again, amazing!
